BIBLIOMETRICAL ANALYSIS OF STUDIES IN THE FIELD OF ISLAMIC ECONOMICS BASED ON SCOPUS DATABASE
In recent years, the field of Islamic economics has demonstrated remarkable growth at both national and international levels. In particular, countries such as Malaysia have emerged as important centers for Islamic finance and economics. This study aims to present a bibliometric analysis of academic research in the field of Islamic economics. By examining the scope, quality and impact of existing studies, it provides a comprehensive overview of trends, key topics, methodologies and research gaps in the literature. Data collected from the Scopus database were analyzed using RStudio software to identify patterns within the field. The findings highlight the increasing academic interest in Islamic economics and emphasize the social significance of concepts such as Islamic finance and banking. Moreover, the analysis identifies the leading countries contributing to this body of research and reveals the interdisciplinary nature of Islamic economics studies, which span economics, finance and Islamic law. Overall, the study offers valuable insights for future research by guiding scholars to address emerging gaps and explore the evolving dynamics of Islamic economics.
Evaluating scientific publications in the field of sports management: a bibliometric study based on the Web of Science database
This study aims to evaluate the research in sports management from a broader perspective, considering its scope, quality and impact. It uses bibliometric analysis, a method that quantifies and assesses academic studies, to reveal the trends, topics, methods and gaps in this field. Bibliometric analysis applies mathematical and statistical methods to analyse scientific activities and it can show the trends, hot topics, relationships and collaborations among countries, regions, institutions, research fields and authors by examining academic research conducted in various countries, universities and publications. The data for this study were collected from the Web of Science (WoS) database, which was chosen for the literature review because it is a more authoritative and widespread source than other databases and it offers high-quality journals and a complete data structure for bibliometric analysis. The search in the WoS database was conducted using keywords related to sports management, such as “sports economics, sports industry, financial sports, sports and economy, sports organization, sports management, sports media, sports technology, sports innovation, sports policy, sponsorship and sports clubs, sports business” and so on. The data were analysed with RStudio program and bibliometric analysis was performed. The results show that the number of studies in sports management has increased continuously from 1991 to 2023. Moreover, the contents of the studies in this field have changed over time. For instance, while the word «sport» was more common in the earlier years, the word «sports» has become more prevalent in recent years. This indicates that sport has evolved into a multidisciplinary concept that encompasses different sports branches. However, most of the studies in sports management do not adequately address the economic dimension of sports management. Therefore, there is a need for more and more comprehensive scientific publications in this field. The findings suggest that the research in this field is growing over time, but there are still many research gaps in sports economics. Do Geopolitical Risks and Migration Hinder or Stimulate the Renewable Energy Transition? A Wavelet-Based Analysis on the Five Largest Carbon Emitter Countries
This study analyzes the effects of net migration, geopolitical risk, and economic growth on renewable energy supply in the five largest carbon-emitting countries— the United States, China, India, Japan, and Germany—between 1990 and 2022. Using multi-scale and quantile-based methods, it examines whether these factors hinder or promote the energy transition. Renewable energy supply reflects a country’s clean energy production capacity. Wavelet Quantile Correlation and Wavelet Quantile Regression techniques capture time-frequency interactions and quantile-based differences. Findings show migration boosts renewable energy adoption in migration-receiving countries like the U.S. and Germany but has weaker short-term effects in migration- sending nations like India and China. Geopolitical risks hinder adoption initially, especially in energy-dependent countries, but strong domestic policies in Germany and the U.S. mitigate these risks. Economic growth supports renewable energy in China and Germany but increases fossil fuel reliance in the U.S. and India initially. These results highlight the need for long-term, strategic policies to enhance energy security and sustainability.
Investigating the Impact of Social Media-Driven Sentiment on the Electric Vehicle Stock Market Using Quantile Regression
The electric vehicle (EV) sector has experienced remarkable growth, fueled by technological advancements, government incentives, and increasing environmental awareness. As the world shifts towards a low-carbon economy, EVs play a crucial role in reducing carbon emissions and shaping sustainable investment portfolios. This study investigates the impact of consumer sentiment on EV market performance, with a particular focus on social media platforms like Reddit. By constructing sentiment indices from user-generated content, the research applies quantile regression analysis to explore the relationship between social media-driven sentiment and sectoral stock returns. Unlike traditional models that focus on average market behavior, quantile regression captures the distributional effects of sentiment, particularly at the extremes, offering deeper insights into market volatility. The findings reveal how shifts in consumer sentiment, driven by emotional and behavioral factors, can significantly influence EV stock prices, providing valuable insights for investors and policymakers. This study contributes to the growing field of sustainable finance by introducing a novel approach to understanding how social media sentiment can guide investment decisions in the rapidly evolving EV sector, thereby supporting the transition to a more sustainable economy.

The Emotional Impact of Sports Sponsorships: A Sentiment Analysis of Public Reactions on Reddit
This article discusses the role of sports sponsorships and the impact of sponsorship agreements on various stakeholders, along with the emotional reactions they evoke in the public. Sponsorship is viewed as a strategic partnership between companies and sports organizations, with the primary goal of increasing brand visibility and ensuring financial growth. The sentiment analyses presented in the article reveal a complex interaction between sponsorships and public opinion, examining the influence of emotions such as anger, anticipation, disgust, fear, joy, sadness, surprise and trust. These emotions are significantly affected by factors such as the commercialization of sports, manipulative practices in sponsorship agreements and ethical concerns. In this respect, the study approaches the phenomenon of sports sponsorship from a sports economics perspective, drawing attention to the balance between economic interests and societal values. The study emphasizes that while sponsorships can enhance sports experiences, they can lead to negative perceptions if financial interests overshadow the values and integrity of sports. The article highlights the importance of transparency and ethical practices in sponsorship agreements and suggests that future research should delve deeper into the emotional effects of sponsorships. Additionally, it stresses the need for research that extends beyond platforms like Reddit to include other social media channels.
