Creatine kinase elevation in chronic hepatitis B patients with telbivudine therapy: influence of telbivudine plasma concentration and single nucleotide polymorphisms of TK2, RRM2B, and NME4
Purpose To study the correlations of genetic variants of telbivudine phosphorylase kinases and telbivudine plasma concentration with creatine kinase elevation in chronic hepatitis B patients who received telbivudine. Methods An observational study was performed in China chronic hepatitis B patients receiving telbivudine therapy at 600 mg once daily. Plasma concentration was measured 12 h after taking telbivudine using ultra-performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry and SNPs located in RRM2B , TK2 , and NME4 was detected by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry. All statistical analyses were performed with R 4.3.1 and all graphs were drawn by Origin 2023b and P value < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results A total of 140 patients receiving telbivudine therapy were recruited with a median plasma concentration of 952.49 (781.07–1238.98) ng/mL. The value of plasma concentration was proportional to the grade of creatine kinase elevation and the best telbivudine plasma concentration threshold to discriminate the grade 3/4 CK elevation was 1336.61 ng/mL. Multivariate analysis revealed that plasma concentration and rs3826160 were the independent risk factor of telbivudine-induced creatine kinase elevation. Patients with TC and CC genotype in rs3826160 not only had a higher incidence of creatine kinase elevation but also a higher plasma concentration than TT genotype carriers. Conclusion Chronic hepatitis B patients with TC and CC genotype in rs3826160 have high telbivudine plasma concentration are at risk of elevated creatine kinase.
An Updated Review of BiCuSeO-Based Thermoelectric Materials
Since 2010, BiCuSeO has emerged as a captivating subject of investigation within the realm of thermoelectric materials. Its allure lies in a remarkable confluence of characteristics: a distinctive natural super-lattice structure, an elevated Seebeck coefficient, and a low thermal conductivity, all of which have collectively piqued the intense interest of scientists worldwide. Over the subsequent eight-year period, an extensive array of research endeavors has been meticulously carried out, delving deep into the multifaceted properties of BiCuSeO and exploring avenues for performance enhancement. In this comprehensive review, we embark on a detailed exploration of the fundamental properties of BiCuSeO, encompassing its preparation methodologies, as well as its thermoelectric and mechanical attributes. A thorough synthesis of diverse strategies for optimizing the composition and structure of BiCuSeO is presented, elucidating how these modifications contribute to the enhancement of its thermoelectric and mechanical performance. Finally, the current state of research on N-type BiCuSeO is systematically summarized, offering a panoramic view of the advancements and challenges in this particular area.
A new method for predicting consolidation settlements of soft ground based on monitoring results
Excessive settlement or differential settlement of subgrade will lead to the deterioration of line operational conditions, the reduction of passenger comfort, and even endanger the safety of traffic. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the settlement prediction of subgrade. In order to predict the settlement of foundation under the next level of loading earlier during the embankment construction process, a new method of predicting settlement of soft soil subgrade is proposed. Firstly, based on monitoring results of soft soil foundation, the consolidation parameters of soil layer are back-calculated according to the three-point method. Then, combined with the theory of the consolidation degree of graded loading, the formula that can predict settlement under different loading conditions are derived. Eventually, the practical application of the method is verified by the prediction and comparative analysis of measured settlements based on engineering examples. The result of research shows that the method can predict the foundation settlement after loading during construction of engineering fill. This method has obvious advantages over the traditional curve fitting method and can guide the actual engineering construction.
海南省消除病毒性肝炎公共卫生危害工作实践
2022年海南省政府启动了病毒性肝炎防治项目,其目标为:到2025年底18岁以上人群乙型肝炎筛查率达到90%,诊断率达到90%,治疗率达到80%;其主要干预措施为“人群预防、病例筛查、抗病毒治疗和健康管理”。截至2024年12月31日,累计筛查乙型肝炎大众人群687.5万人,筛查率为95.6%;发现HBsAg阳性者184 710例,其中确诊复核检测156 772例,诊断率为84.9%;发现慢性乙型肝炎患者50 742例,其中建立乙型肝炎专病档案进行健康管理42 921例,建档率84.6%;抗病毒治疗31 553例,治疗率62.2%。累计筛查丙型肝炎重点人群250.3万人,其中抗-HCV阳性4 870例,HCV RNA检测3 858例,诊断率为79.2%;发现HCV RNA阳性1 824例,其中接受抗病毒治疗1 194例,治疗率65.5%。对HBsAg和抗-HBs阴性、年龄在20~40岁人群免费接种乙型肝炎疫苗159 301人。通过病毒性肝炎防治项目的实施,海南省短期内发现、治疗和管理了一大批病毒性肝炎患者,明显加快了消除病毒性肝炎危害行动步伐。
