Hybrid BW-EDAS MCDM methodology for optimal industrial robot selection
Industrial robots have different capabilities and specifications according to the required applications. It is becoming difficult to select a suitable robot for specific applications and requirements due to the availability of several types with different specifications of robots in the market. Best-worst method is a useful, highly consistent and reliable method to derive weights of criteria and it is worthy to integrate it with the evaluation based on distance from average solution (EDAS) method that is more applicable and needs fewer number of calculations as compared to other methods. An example is presented to show the validity and usability of the proposed methodology. Comparison of ranking results matches with the well-known distance-based approach, technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution and VIseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) methods showing the robustness of the best-worst EDAS hybrid method. Sensitivity analysis performed using eighty to one ratio shows that the proposed hybrid MCDM methodology is more stable and reliable.
Enhancement in Thermal Energy and Solute Particles Using Hybrid Nanoparticles by Engaging Activation Energy and Chemical Reaction over a Parabolic Surface via Finite Element Approach
Several mechanisms in industrial use have significant applications in thermal transportation. The inclusion of hybrid nanoparticles in different mixtures has been studied extensively by researchers due to their wide applications. This report discusses the flow of Powell–Eyring fluid mixed with hybrid nanoparticles over a melting parabolic stretched surface. Flow rheology expressions have been derived under boundary layer theory. Afterwards, similarity transformation has been applied to convert PDEs into associated ODEs. These transformed ODEs have been solved the using finite element procedure (FEP) in the symbolic computational package MAPLE 18.0. The applicability and effectiveness of FEM are presented by addressing grid independent analysis. The reliability of FEM is presented by computing the surface drag force and heat transportation coefficient. The used methodology is highly effective and it can be easily implemented in MAPLE 18.0 for other highly nonlinear problems. It is observed that the thermal profile varies directly with the magnetic parameter, and the opposite trend is recorded for the Prandtl number.
On multi-step methods for singular fractional q-integro-differential equations
The objective of this paper is to investigate, by applying the standard Caputo fractional -derivative of order , the existence of solutions for the singular fractional -integro-differential equation , under some boundary conditions where is singular at some point , on a time scale , for where and . We consider the compact map and avail the Lebesgue dominated theorem for finding solutions of the addressed problem. Besides, we prove the main results in context of completely continuous functions. Our attention is concentrated on fractional multi-step methods of both implicit and explicit type, for which sufficient existence conditions are investigated. Finally, we present some examples involving graphs, tables and algorithms to illustrate the validity of our theoretical findings.
Multiple slips impact in the MHD hybrid nanofluid flow with Cattaneo–Christov heat flux and autocatalytic chemical reaction
The present study deliberates the nanofluid flow containing multi and single-walled carbon nanotubes submerged into Ethylene glycol in a Darcy–Forchheimer permeable media over a stretching cylinder with multiple slips. The innovation of the envisaged mathematical model is enriched by considering the impacts of non-uniform source/sink and modified Fourier law in the energy equation and autocatalytic chemical reaction in the concentration equation. Entropy optimization analysis of the mathematical model is also performed in the present problem. Pertinent transformations procedure is implemented for the conversion of the non-linear system to the ordinary differential equations. The succor of the Shooting technique combined with the bvp4c MATLAB software is utilized for the solution of a highly nonlinear system of equations. The impacts of the leading parameters versus engaged fields are inspected through graphical sketches. The outcomes show that a strong magnetic field strengthens the temperature profile and decays the velocity profile. Also, the fluid velocity is lessened for growing estimates of the parameter of slip. Additionally, it is detected that entropy number augmented for higher thermal relaxation parameter and Reynolds number. To substantiate the existing mathematical model, a comparison table is also added. An excellent correlation is achieved here.
Quantum Hermite–Hadamard inequality by means of a Green function
The purpose of this work is to present the quantum Hermite–Hadamard inequality through the Green function approach. While doing this, we deduce some novel quantum identities. Using these identities, we establish some new inequalities in this direction. We contemplate the possibility of expanding the method, outlined herein, to recast the proofs of some known inequalities in the literature.
Sharp bounds for the Toader mean of order 3 in terms of arithmetic, quadratic and contraharmonic means
In the article, we present the best possible parameters α1, β1, α2, β2 ∈ ℝ and α3, β3 ∈ [1/2, 1] such that the double inequalitiesα1C(a,b)+(1−α1)A(a,b) 0 with a ≠ b, and provide new bounds for the complete elliptic integral of the second kind, where A(a, b) = (a + b)/2 is the arithmetic mean, Q(a,b)=a2+b2/2 $\\begin{array}{}\\displaystyleQ(a, b)=\\sqrt{\\left(a^{2}+b^{2}\\right)/2}\\end{array}$is the quadratic mean, C(a, b) = (a2 + b2)/(a + b) is the contra-harmonic mean, C(p; a, b) = C[pa + (1 – p)b, pb + (1 – p)a] is the one-parameter contra-harmonic mean and T3(a,b)=(2π∫0π/2a3cos2⁡θ+b3sin2⁡θdθ)2/3 $\\begin{array}{}T_{3}(a,b)=\\Big(\\frac{2}{\\pi}\\int\\limits_{0}^{\\pi/2}\\sqrt{a^{3}\\cos^{2}\\theta+b^{3}\\sin^{2}\\theta}\\text{d}\\theta\\Big)^{2/3}\\end{array}$is the Toader mean of order 3.
Hermite–Hadamard type inequalities for co-ordinated convex and qausi-convex functions and their applications
In the article, we present several Hermite–Hadamard type inequalities for the co-ordinated convex and quasi-convex functions and give an application to the product of the moment of two continuous and independent random variables. Our results are generalizations of some earlier results. Additionally, an illustrative example on the probability distribution is given to support our results.
Application of response surface methodology on the nanofluid flow over a rotating disk with autocatalytic chemical reaction and entropy generation optimization
The role of nanofluids is of fundamental significance in the cooling process of small electronic devices including microchips and other associated gadgets in microfluidics. With such astounding applications of nanofluids in mind, it is intended to examine the flow of magnetohydrodynamic nanofluid comprising a novel combination of multi-walled carbon nanotubes and engine oil over a stretched rotating disk. The concentration equation is modified by considering the autocatalytic chemical reaction. The succor of the bvp4c numerical technique amalgamated with the response surface methodology is secured for the solution of a highly nonlinear system of equations. The sensitivity analysis is performed using a response surface methodology. The significant impacts of the prominent arising parameters versus involved fields are investigated through graphical illustrations. It is observed that the skin friction coefficient and local Nusselt number are positively sensitive to nanoparticle volume fraction while it is positively sensitive to the suction parameter. It is negatively sensitive to the Magnetic parameter. The skin friction coefficient is negatively sensitive to all input parameters.

New Hermite–Hadamard-type inequalities for -convex fuzzy-interval-valued functions
In this paper, we introduce the non-convex interval-valued functions for fuzzy-interval-valued functions, which are called -convex fuzzy-interval-valued functions, by means of fuzzy order relation. This fuzzy order relation is defined level-wise through Kulisch–Miranker order relation given on the interval space. By using the -convexity concept, we present fuzzy-interval Hermite–Hadamard inequalities for fuzzy-interval-valued functions. Several exceptional cases are debated, which can be viewed as useful applications. Interesting examples that verify the applicability of the theory developed in this study are presented. The results of this paper can be considered as extensions of previously established results.
