The Derailed Decentered Subject in Sarah Kane's 4.48 Psychosis
This article investigates the mental impairment in the postmodernist character/characters in Sarah Kane's play 4.48 Psychosis through the psychoanalytical theories of Jacques Lacan. Sarah Kane is enlisted among the big three of In-Yer-Face theatre British dramatists who invaded our personal spaces with extremism of language and unsettled disturbing emotions shown on stage. Prompted by the fragmented bizarre structure of 4.48 Psychosis and the perplexing and troubling demeanor of its characters, the study with track down the springs of such ruptures and the reasons of deviation from their past course. The fragmented self in postmodern literature earns its distinction in history through this singular feature of being decentered and its drifting attitude towards the chaotic delusional world. Lacan (1901-1981) is described by Marshall Alcorn in \"The Subject of Discourse: Reading Lacan (and beyond) Poststructuralist Contexts\" as the founder of the psychological structure of the self on \"linguistic and discursive phenomena\" and his talent in synthesizing psychoanalytical and poststructuralist concepts is immensely influential. According to the entry on \"Jacques Lacan\" in the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy, Lacan asserted a doctrine that human identity is \"decentered\" and when the subject's mind chains snap, vents are created by the missing signifier of the Name-of-the- Father, and psychosis is triggered. Despite the loss of a center, the postmodern subject speaks violence out of a peaceful heart and brutality out of compassionate humanity. In 4.48 Psychosis a destructive physical ache spreads in a subject yearning for love, scary medical notes sound funny and falling black snow, quiet screams and tearless weeps are symptoms of a psychotic subject. The postmodern self is ontologically grounded in love which should be understood as a force that seeks to reunite that which has been separated.

Psychoanalytic Analysis of the Use of Stream of Consciousness in Selected Short Stories by James Joyce
This study attempts a psychoanalytic analysis of the stream of consciousness technique in four of James Joyce's short stories: Eveline, The Dead, A Little Cloud, and The Sisters. The research examines functionalizing this literary technique as a means of exploring the inner thoughts and motivations of the characters in each story. An investigative reading of the texts indicates that the stream of consciousness technique could be interpreted as a manifestation of the characters' unconscious suppressed desires and conflicts, as well as a reflection of the social and cultural contexts in which these characters exist. Drawing on the theories of Sigmund Freud and Jacques Lacan, the analysis explores the themes of repression, sexuality, trauma, and identity in these works. Eventually, the study suggests that Joyce's use of the stream of consciousness technique offers a unique insight into the complexities of human experience and the ways in which human inner lives are shaped by both internal and external forces.

تعد نظرية الأجناس الأدبية من أقدم قضايا النظرية الأدبية المعاصرة، فقد أولاها المنظرون والنقاد والفلاسفة عناية كبيرة منذ فجر التاريخ، ولا غرابة في ذلك، فقد ظل البحث في الأدب وفي مفهومه معا يهيمن على الكثير من الدراسات القديمة والحديثة، سواء عند الغربيين الذين كان لهم قصب السبق، أو عند العرب الذين تأثروا بثقافة الحضارة الغربية. كانت الأبحاث التي تخصصت في نظرية الجنس الأدبي أو معضلته، تسعى إلى إستكشاف القوالب الفنية التي تمتلك ضوابط وحدودا فاصلة، نعمل على تكرس قواعد إنبناء الأجناس، وكان لليونانيين القدامى قصب السبق في ذلك، بل والجرأة على التفكير والتخييل والتقسيم والتنظير، كان لأفلاطون موقف من الأجناس الأدبية، موقف من الشعر والشعراء، ووضع أرسطو قواعد نظرية علمية في غاية الغنى والدقة والأهمية، ظهرت في كتابه \"فن الشعر\"، وبناء على وجهتي نظر هذين الفيلسوفين، تناسلت وتعددت أعمال الكثير من المنظرين، الذين كان ديدنهم هو البحث عن الفروق التي تفصل بين هذا الجنس الأدبي وذلك، مستغلين عدة أشكال من المقاربات مختلفة الأصول والأهداف.

Emotional Analysis of Emily Brontes Wuthering Heights
There are few first novels that have aroused much argument such as the novel of Wuthering heights which were concentrated on images, style or arrangements. In spite of the novel has annoyed and angered Victorians, contemporary critics have been talking about the quality of the novel's structure and Emily Brontë's dynamic and trained treatment of feeling. A novel arises through the author's genius, and readers in touch with the imaginable world of novels through its style. Thus, in order to understand fictional texts, studying and analyzing language closely is an important condition. Passionate examination is utilized as a diagnostic instrument to see text patterns and their importance. It depends on factual information that demonstrate how language, vocabulary, and construction are used to achieve an elucidation of the content. Wuthering Heights offers a diversification of styles. In terms of style and emotion, long before her time, Brontë gave her a more appropriate form to illustrate her subject and her thoughts adequately. This article, then, is an endeavor to find what draws attention to Bronte's emotional style.
