As a result to the recent oil crisis Algerian incomes have collapsed, which necessitates an urgent compensation for these losses by giving the appropriate attention to the possible alternatives, one of which is the improvement of local production. We believe that the best method for Algerian companies to improve the quality of their products and services while enhancing their image in both local and foreign markets is by pursuing the green trend and adopting Green Marketing in their businesses. This paper will focus on the role of Green Marketing in the economic institutions and its impact on the rationalization of the company's activities and outputs, with more attention on its expanded role of both social and sustainable development, to push these economic institutions to serve the public interest. At the end of the study, we will make a number of recommendations we consider necessary in order to emphasize on the need of adopting the green trend in the Algerian institutions.
