This study aimed to identify the needs and challenges of the criminology cadets regarding the English language at Al- Istiqlal University. The researchers attempted to determine the impact of some variables, such as gender identification and English proficiency, on the needs and problems of criminology cadets learning EFL. The participants were 70 cadets specializing in criminology. We administered a five-point Likert scale questionnaire containing 39 items divided into eight domains. The results showed that the criminology cadets received no training in English and that the content of the completed English courses did not match their perceived academic English needs. Furthermore, the study's findings revealed that the need for basic skills and the challenges were moderate. We also discovered no significant variation in the needs and challenges of criminology cadets based on gender or performance variables. Several recommendations have been made based on these findings.

في ظل ما يشهده العالم من أزمات طبيعية أو سياسية أو ناتجة عن حدوث حالات صراع مسلح، أصبحت أعداد اللاجئين في تزايد مستمر، مما يوجب على المجتمعات المستضيفة ضرورة توفير الخدمة التعليمية باعتبارها حق إنساني، وقد حاولت هذه الورقة البحثية الإجابة عن التساؤل الرئيس: \"ما الاحتياجات التعليمية للطلاب اللاجئين بالتعليم قبل الجامعي في مصر؟\". فتم مناقشة الاحتياجات التعليمية للاجئين ومتطلبات تلبيتها ودور المعلم وأهميته في نجاح منظومة التعليم، وأهمية التعليم للاجئين في حمايتهم وتنمية مهاراتهم، وأسفرت الدراسة عن عدة نتائج أهمها ما يلي: - في ضوء ما تقدم تؤكد الباحثة أهمية تناول قضايا اللاجئين ودراسة حقوقهم باهتمام وإنسانية والتزام من المجتمع الدولي تجاه اللاجئين وذلك لأنهم الفئة الأضعف ومرورا بظروف غاية في الصعوبة، كما أن المواثيق الدولية تلزم الدول الموقعة عليها بضرورة إعطاء اللاجئين حقوقهم وخاصة حقوقهم التعليمية وذلك لأن التعليم يحفظ للاجئين حياتهم ويعطيهم في المستقبل ويجعلهم مواطنين صالحين في البلد المضيف وغدا في بلده الأم ويكونوا عناصر فعالة في السلام وبناء المجتمعات وليسوا إرهاب أو متطرفين وأدوات للحروب. - قدمت الدراسة تصورا مقترحا للتغلب على المعوقات التي تواجه اللاجئين في التعليم.

لمست الدراسة الأثر التربوي الذي ينعكس على عطاء المعلمين وأدائهم لتعليم أطفال اللاجئين السوريين، ودرجة ممارسة مديرو المدارس لدورهم كمشرفين مقيمين، وكيفية مساهمة الجهات المانحة الداخلية والخارجية ووكالات الأمم المتحدة للإسهام والنهوض بالتعليم. تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع المعلمين في الفترة المسائية، في محافظة جرش، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة قامت الباحثة بتطوير استبانة مكونة من (39) فقرة موزعة على (4) مجالات، وتم التحقق من صدقها وثباتها بالطرق التربوية والإحصائية وعليه فإن تقديرات المعلمين لدرجة ممارسة المدير لدوره كمشرف مقيم كانت بدرجة مرتفعة وذلك من وجهه نظرهم، كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية.

Needs analysis has long been the cornerstone of English for specific purposes (ESP). It has a vital role in the process of teaching, whether for ESP or general English course. The current study was conducted with the master-one students (2016/2017) of computer-science at the department of mathematics/Computer-Science at the University of Ahmed Draia (Adrar). It aimed at investigating the English language needs of these students by focusing on identifying their needs and discovering the most important needs they needed. It started with providing a general revue of the literature related to the concept, conducting a piloting study to collect data through a section of methodology, analyzing data and then drawing a general conclusion concerning the specific needs of these students. Therefore, the results revealed that the students ,,needs were necessary to communicate whether in their environment or outside in order to improve their skills regarded as most important and which are Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. Finally, the students ,,level of proficiency in ESP was above average in all the skills.

تعتبر تلك الدراسة من الدراسات الوصفية والتي تستهدف معرفة الأسباب التي ساعدت على حرمان هؤلاء الأطفال من التعليم، وتحديد الاحتياجات الخاصة بذوي الإعاقة، وقد اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي حيث أنه يعتبر من أنسب المناهج التحليلية التي يمكن أن يستخدمها الباحث، وتم تطبيق البحث على الأطفال ذوى الإعاقة المحرومين من التعليم حتى سن ‎١٨‏ سنة وعددهم ‎213 حالة، إضافة إلى الخبراء والمتخصصين في رعاية الإعاقة، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية: قلة المؤسسات التي تهتم برعاية المعاقين وتعليمهم، عدم توافر الأخصائيين الاجتماعيين المؤهلين للتعامل مع الإعاقات، تجاهل وسائل الإعلام للمشكلات التي يعانى منها المعاقين إلا القليل منهم، ضعف الحرف التي تتناسب ذوى الإعاقة، الإحساس بنظرة الشفقة من جانب بعض الأهالي في المجتمع، صعوبة مشاركة ذوى الإعاقة في الأنشطة الرياضية داخل غالبية المؤسسات، الحالة الاقتصادية التي توجد لدى بعض الأسر تجعل من الصعب رعايتهم وتوفير الخدمات الخاصة بهم وخاصة الخدمات التعليمية والصحية والاجتماعية والرياضية، ذوى الإعاقة دائما ما يحتاج إلى الأمن والحب والتقدير والاحترام وهذا ما يفتقده كثيرا في مجتمعنا.

Le Maroc s'est engagé pour opérationnaliser l'approche de l'éducation inclusive afin d'assurer le droit à l'éducation à tous les enfants. Il s'agit d'un processus à mettre en place afin de pouvoir prendre en compte la diversité au sein de la même classe et à répondre aux besoins éducatifs de chaque apprenant. Trois dispositifs accueillent les enfants en situation de handicap : le centre spécialisé, la classe ordinaire et la salle de ressource pour réhabilitation et soutien. Malgré les textes et lois permettant de rendre effective le droit à l'éducation pour les enfants en situation de handicap et les dispositifs existants, ces derniers voient leur cursus scolaire perturbé par de multiples barrières. Les enquêtes menées au Maroc ont pu éclaircir la nature de ces barrières : psycho-sociologique, pédagogique, architecturale, politique & stratégique et financier. Cette situation mène à repenser l'offre de l'école afin de permettre une réelle prise en considération du droit à l'éducation et des besoins éducatifs de chaque apprenant

In the past children with SEN have been treated as non-equals to regular children. However, with the continued push for equality in many countries, educationalists have realized that there is a need to integrate students with SEN in mainstream schools. Research shows that educating students with SEN in mainstream schools has lots of positive implications in their social and academic development. As such it is important to evaluate the best strategies to employ to ensure that the inclusion of SEN students in mainstream schools becomes a success. However, numerous factors hinder the inclusion of SEN students in mainstream schools. This project will show how teachers' negative attitude towards the practice, teachers' incompetence, lack of adequate physical and human support deter the inclusion of SEN students in mainstream schools. It will also show how other factors such as parents' attitudes, poor classroom, and school organization, lack of an inclusive curriculum, and assessment strategies, make it difficult to integrate SEN students in mainstream schools.

Since the concept of integrating special needs students in one classroom with their normal peers-be it mainstreaming or full inclusion was introduced, people have been divided between supporting and opposing it. Academics, researches, schools, teachers, parents and activists have been trying to figure out whether the application of this concept would really benefit special needs students without adversely affecting their peers, and without taking a toll on the available resources of schools and their faculty. This research will attempt to reach a conclusion supported by evidence and academic research as well as draw on the experiences of people directly involved with this problem.

This study investigates the English language needs of the students enrolled in the Technology of Communication, faculty of Sciences of Technology at Saida University where they study Scientific English terms based on their needs. To undertake this investigation, a descriptive approach is conducted, basing on two distinctive questionnaires. The study aims at finding out academic English language needs from the perspectives of the students and that of the content teachers in hope of being able to propose well-founded curricular recommendations for a scientific English course at the Sciences of Technology faculty of Saida University.
