The Influence of Geological Potential and Investment Climate on Botswana's Competitiveness
Objective: This article's objective is to evaluate Botswana's attractiveness to investors in mineral exploration. Botswana's competitiveness and ability to attract exploration and mining investment have declined in recent years. Method: Questionnaires were used as part of a mixed methodology to collect data that was subjected to empirical analysis. From a possible 231 respondents including exploration and mining companies, mining consultants, a research firm, and a mining association, a representative sample of 100 were chosen and given the survey through a stratified random sampling process. The data was analyzed using SPSS and both descriptive and inferential analyses were utilized. Result: This study finds that Botswana is only moderately successful in luring exploration investment. Botswana's ability to entice exploration investment is influenced by factors including the country's political stability, mining tax, mineral policy, license approval, quality of geological data, availability of skilled labor, adequate infrastructure, a streamlined licensing process, effective relevant institutions, and clear rules and regulations. Conclusion: The study recommends that Botswana regulators should consider improving mining tax incentives and continue removing bureaucratic requirements that delay the licensing process, as this may result in a more favorable mining environment that encourages both domestic and international mining interests.

Assessing the Moderating Effect of Political Stability on the Relationship between FDI and Economic Prosperity
Objectives: The current research focuses on proving that Foreign direct investment (FDI) is a significant source for developing countries like Jordan. Therefore, Current research aims to investigate the impact of FDI on the economic prosperity of Jordan, focusing on how this relationship is affected by the country's political stability. The study incorporates the time series data from 2011 to 2021. The economic prosperity of the country is measured through the real gross domestic product (Real GDP) growth rate. Methods: The econometric analysis indicates that FDI has a positive significant impact on the economic prosperity of Jordan, but the political stability of the country also influences this effect. by using these indicators Unit Root Test, Regression Analysis, and Hierarchical Regression Analysis. Results: The findings indicate that the political instability of the country hurts the relationship between FDI and economic prosperity. Current research has positive significant implications for economic policymakers and politicians of Jordan. Conclusion: Jordanian policymakers and politicians should focus on improving the country's political stability, which will lead to attracting more FDI and economic prosperity.

هو محاولة لطرح الحل الليبرالي في مجتمع تعددي لا يؤمن جميع أطرافه بالضرورة بتلك القيم الليبرالية التي حاجج عنها رولز. يقيم رولز نظريته على الفصل المفهومي بين \"العقلاني rational\" \"والمعقول reasonable\"، وهو تفريق يستعيره رولز، ككثير من مفاهيمه من فلسفة كانط للعقل العملي التي تفرق بين الأمر المطلق أو الحكم الأخلاقي المطلق المتعلق بالغايات الذي ينتمي إلى العقل العملي الخالص، والأمر الشرطي أو الاختيار العرضي للوسيلة التي تحقق تلك الغايات، وهو الذي ينتمي بدوره إلى العقل العملي الوسائلي.

الديمقراطية التوافقية كحل لمعضلة نظام الحكم في السودان
This paper discusses the governance dilemma and political instability in Sudan, seeking to find a \"model\" of governance capable of representing all Sudanese groups in their diverse forms and addressing the sense of marginalization felt by the larger segment of peripheral social classes in Sudan. The paper draws on the functional structuralist perspective in analysis from Gabriel Almond, with some modifications, and on the studies of Arend Lijphart, who designed one of the most well-known consociational systems known as \"consociational democracy.\" The paper concludes that adopting consociational democracy and designing an acceptable consociational system for all parties in conflict in Sudan is the solution to the governance dilemma.

فرص التكامل السياسي والاقتصادي وتحدياته
لا شك أن البحث في موضوع هذه الدراسة ومدى علاقته بالتكامل السياسي، يثير مساحات واسعة للنقاش والتحليل حول تلك التغيرات العميقة في البنى الاقتصادية والسياسية والاجتماعية للدولة، كذلك في مستوى توافر فرص التكامل السياسي والاقتصادي التي تحقق مستويات متقدمة من التطور والتقدم في المجالات كافة للمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية. كذلك يهدف البحث التعرف إلى مفهوم التكامل ودوره في تحقيق الاستقرار السياسي، وقد استخدمت الدراسة المنهج التحليلي في معرفة الفرص المتاحة للتكامل السياسي والاقتصادي في الأردن. كذلك تناولت بالبحث والتحليل، فرص التكامل السياسي والاقتصادي وانعكاساته على الأردن، موضحة مفهوم التكامل السياسي والاقتصادي، ومبينة تجربة الأردن في التكامل، مع تحليل أهم التحديات والمعوقات التي تواجه الفرصة المتاحة للتكامل. ومن أبرز النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة، أن التجربة التي مرت بها الأردن في مجال التكامل السياسي والاقتصادي لم تحقق النجاح المأمول، كما أن التكامل الاقتصادي يساهم في اتساع الأسواق، وتحقيق عائد مادي كبير للأردن، والمنافسة في الأسواق العالمية، يضاف إلى ذلك أن التكامل السياسي يمنح الأردن ميزة القدرة على المساومة والتعامل مع التكتلات الاقتصادية العالمية. وعليه جاءت التوصيات، بضرورة زيادة حجم الاستثمارات الأردنية الوطنية، واتخاذ خطوات عملية نحو سوق عربية مشتركة، ومراجعة جميع الاتفاقيات التي تمت بين الأردن والدول الأخرى، بما يتفق مع متغيرات الواقع العربي والعالمي.
