حرصت حكومة المملكة العربية السعودية منذ عهد المؤسس الملك عبد العزيز بن عبد الرحمن آل سعود على تحمل عبئ الدعوة إلى الله والاهتمام بأمر الأقليات المسلمة في العالم ودعمها ماديا ومعنويا بكافة الطرق التي تضمن استمرار بقائها وحفاظها على هويتها الإسلامية. لذا جاءت هذه الدراسة لتسليط الضوء على تلك الخدمات الجليلة والتطرق إلى مسيرة البذل والعطاء في دعم العمل الإسلامي وتقديم الحقائق لمدى اهتمامه بقضايا الأقليات المسلمة للحفاظ على ثباتها أمام التحديات الكبيرة التي تواجها. لذا سوف تشتمل هذه الدراسة على التمهيد وثلاثة مباحث هي: -المبحث الأول: دعم الأقليات المسلمة في كافة المجالات. -المبحث الثاني: المملكة ودعم الأقليات المسلمة ماديا وإغاثيا. -المبحث الثالث: الدعم الإغاثي من خلال المؤسسات والمنظمات. -وسنختم بخاتمة ونتائج وتوصيات.

تعاني الأقليات المسلمة في أوروبا مشكلات متعددة كالتضييق عليها في ممارسة شعائرها، والتمييز، والاندماج واستلاب الهوية، ومشكلات اللغة، والشعور بالاغتراب، فضلا عن مشكلات الانقسام والطائفة بين أبناء الأقليات المسلمة ذاتها؛ إلى جانب المشكلات التعليمية المرتبطة بتعليم الأبناء في الدول الأوروبية مثل محتوى المناهج الدراسية والقيم التي تتضمنها، وتدريس مقرر التربية الدينية، وتعليم اللغة العربية كأحد مقومات الهوية في مواجهة محاولات تذويب وطمس هوية الفرد داخل تلك المجتمعات، وهي أخطر تلك المشكلات. وتحاول هذه الدراسة من خلال استخدام المنهج الوصفي، وتحليل الأدبيات والدراسات تحديد أبرز المشكلات التعليمية التي تواجه الأسر المسلمة في أوروبا، وأسبابها وانعكاساتها، وتحليل واقع الجهود المبذولة لمواجهة تلك المشكلات. وانتهت الدراسة إلى اقتراح سبل التصدي للمشكلات التعليمية للأقليات المسلمة في أوروبا، والحد من آثارها، وتداعياتها. ومن هذه السبل التعاون بين الدول والمنظمات العربية والإسلامية في إنشاء قنوات إعلامية وتعليمية تخاطب هذه الفئات، وتتيح لها التعبير عن قضاياها ومشكلاتها، وتنشر الثقافة العربية ومفرداتها بين أبناء الأقليات المسلمة، والتوسع في إنشاء فروع للمؤسسات التعليمية والجامعات العربية في دول أوروبا، والعمل على انتقاء وإعداد المعلمين، وابتعاثهم للعمل بتلك المؤسسات. وأوصت الدراسة بالتوسع في البحوث حول أوضاع الأقليات في كل بلد أوروبي، ومشكلاتها المتنوعة.

Purpose: This research aims to discuss the history of Islam in New Zealand, together with some of the pressing issues and challenges Muslims have encountered along the way. Looking back at the history of early Muslim settlers and the emergence of Muslim organizations and allied enterprises, it is clear that the Muslim community in New Zealand has had a rather mixed reception in a land that, on the whole, is perceived to be benignly tolerant and accepting. Methodology: The research is based on a critical analysis of the available literature, both contemporary and historical. This paper explores complicated community developments, conversions to Islam, the violence experienced with defacement and destruction of mosques in reaction to overseas events over recent decades, ongoing Islamophobia, and the infamous 2019 terrorist attack on two mosques in the city of Christchurch. Findings: The research highlights the status of the New Zealand Muslim community and the extent and nature of their influence in the country. It constitutes a social hierarchy with a complex past and multiple internal issues. Accordingly, this paper concludes with a brief discussion of the migrant experience of Muslims. It also elucidates the necessity of further research in the future and emphasizes the need to study the culture, faith and history of New Zealand from various angles. Originality: This is illustrated in the direct attachment of the research to the core topic of religion. This is the first academic study to deal directly with both the history of the Muslim minority and contemporary issues such as Islamophobia following the 2019 massacre.

In Does My Head Look Big in This? Randa Abdul-Fattah explores the world of young people and to where their mentality turns. Of the many ideas handled in the novel, my paper underlines the attitude of young adult female Muslim minority towards the recurring \"otherizing\" images associating Muslims with terrorism: the West sees that Muslim men impose and exercise their patriarchal authority over subordinated passive Muslim women. Hijab epitomizes Eastern backwardness, oppression, otherness, and national insecurity. The novelist resents this defective Orientalist eye reawakened following 9/11 events and other terrorist activities. Through her characters, she makes an opposing statement. This paper tackles the issue of the \"other\" from a pure social perspective. It questions these Western views that otherize the Orient and its women. Also, it brings to light how \"otherizing\" may be inflicted, as well, upon \"white young women\" when they break the norms of the \"exclusively\" Western civilized way of life. The paper aims at conveying a real-life picture of a new-generation of solid young women ready to bear the burden of change. They seek to shape a third Western-Eastern history replacing the oppositional binary West vs. East. Applying the analytic method, four girls in their teens are spotlighted as typifying how women confront challenges and do strive against any suppression of their personalities. Supported with critical approaches of a number of theorists, post-colonial and current, the paper has shown how the racial superiority is undermined and the Western ideology is refuted and proved futile. It also has indicated that Eastern women enthusiastically re-conceptualize the \"other\".
