Impact of Internet Pornography Use by Jordanian University Students on Perceiving its Effects on Self and Others
This study examines the impact of Internet pornography use on Jordanian university students' perceptions of its effects on themselves and others, using a field survey method. The author notes that the Internet has enabled unprecedented access to pornographic content, making young people particularly vulnerable to its psychological and behavioral consequences. Findings reveal that a significant proportion of students admitted to consuming such content, with male students reporting higher exposure rates than females. The study indicates that frequent use correlates with heightened aggressive tendencies, diminished respect for others, and distorted expectations of sexual relationships. At the same time, some students reported feelings of guilt and social withdrawal due to the conflict between their practices and prevailing social and religious values. Interestingly, participants tended to perceive pornography's negative impact as stronger on others than on themselves, reflecting a psychological mechanism of distancing responsibility. The article concludes by emphasizing the need for educational and media awareness programs to help youth recognize the risks of excessive pornography consumption and to promote values of respect and healthy relationships. Online Customer Reviews and Purchase Intention
Communication through word of mouth has been recognized to have a significant influence on consumer behavior and purchase intention. Due to the rapid growth of internet usage, a non-personal but global form of communication known as online word of mouth or online customer reviews was created. It has been considered as a new version of the traditional word of mouth, where customers could use several sources on the internet to have hands-on information created by others about the products/services they intend to buy. Moreover, Brand image has also been recognized as a key driver that positively influences consumers' purchase intention. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effect of online customer reviews on purchase intention, as well as to examine the moderating role of brand image in the relationship between customer online reviews and purchase intention. The selected brand sector was the mothers who purchase diapers for their children, focusing on Pampers as a well-known brand. Data was gathered through online self-administered questionnaires from a sample of 294 mothers who purchase the brand Pampers for their children. Statistical analysis was conducted to analyze the gathered data whereby appropriate statistical techniques and tests were employed. Results revealed that online consumers' reviews have a significant positive effect on brand image and that brand image was significantly and positively related to purchase intention. Furthermore, online consumers' reviews had no significant impact on purchase intention. Additionally, brand image moderates the relationship between online consumers' reviews and purchase intention. It was also revealed that online customer reviews have a significant positive indirect effect on purchase intention. Psychometric Properties of the Arabic Short Version of the Smartphone Addiction Scale (SAS-SV) in Saudi Arabia
This study aimed to translate and investigate the psychometric properties of the short version of the Smartphone Addiction Scale in Saudi Arabia. A sample of 590 respondents participated in this study and answered the Smartphone Addiction Scale, the Smartphone Application-Based Addiction Scale (SABAS), the Internet Gaming Disorder Scale - Short Form (IGDS-SF) and the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, as well as socio-demographic questions. To validate SAS-SV, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), reliability analysis, concurrent and convergent validity were performed. The scale exhibited adequate internal consistency and test-retest reliability (Cronbach's a =0.79 the test-retest reliability = 0.83), good concurrent and convergent validity. The CFA supported a unidimensional structure established by previous studies with good fit indices. In conclusion, the scale is valid and reliable and can be used to assess the levels of smartphone addiction in Saudi Arabia.
Using Internet of Things Technology to Improve the Quality of University Education
The term Internet of Things (IOT) has become one of the most familiar and popular expressions in recent times, due to the solutions, it offers in classroom management and easy access information which can contribute to ensure the quality of education by applying IOT technology, the education process can be better. The truth is that educational institutions need to develop educational technologies and performance evaluation methods through which the educational process becomes significantly more efficient and fruitful, and the continuous development of this sector, as programmatic accreditation in academic circles is a major tool for improving the quality of education, and also ensures the achievement of standards, which gives the academic university confidence in the existence of a strong accreditation system that meets the requirements. In this regard, the researcher conducted descriptive research to identify aspects of the Internet of Things and how to apply them to support some indicators that can achieve the standards of educational programs within the accreditation program. In this context, the advantages of IOT applications will be applied to bring about fundamental changes in educational programs and their quality. The research discusses the most important safety points that can be used to avoid risks and confront the challenges that limit the use of such technology. In general, this work is directed to develop the educational process, ensuring quality, and maintaining continuous improvement.
Approaching Validity of Online Testing under Covid-19 Pandemic Teaching Protocol
This paper attempts to investigate the issue of online tests, or more precisely, at home answering, validity under covid-19 pandemic and see the extent to which learners' answers reflect what their teachers have supplied them with and what they have really learned. The study was conducted at the English department at Batna2 university during the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year and concerned twenty two teachers who used the online tests. An online questionnaire was sent to these teachers to gain quantitative and qualitative data, which enabled us approaching this topic in depth. The results obtained support the claim that remote testing conducted by our learners are at-home answering and do not reflect what and how online testing should be. Moreover, a general opinion was made that the actual way in which online tests are conducted in our department are far from ensuring validity. Other results are the basics of some suggestions made at the end of this study.
Impact of Security and Privacy on Citizens' Satisfaction in Egypt in Light of Study Government Digital Transformation Services Quality
Government digital transformation is essential for most countries around the world. The Egyptian government has achieved good steps in the digital transformation via several initiatives focused on enhancing government service delivery and improving service quality. According to \"Egypt's Vision 2030,\" the vision highlights the importance of enhancing government digital transformation to increase citizen satisfaction. The objectives of research to identify government digital service quality dimensions, the research considers citizens as customers within the marketing view and uses a model that classifies government digital service quality into five dimensions, including ease of interaction, fulfillment, security and privacy, citizen care, and trustworthiness. In this paper will focus on security and privacy and evaluates the relation of it with citizens' satisfaction. The research used quantitative methodology. The research applied non- probability sample technique with sub-type convenience sampling, as samples were selected from Egyptian citizens. A questionnaire was constructed, and data collected from 384 Egyptian citizens. The research concludes that security and privacy as one of dimensions of government digital service quality positively impact citizen satisfaction.

Motives of Watching Drama Series Online among Egyptian Youth
This research investigates the motives of Egyptian youth for watching drama series online, using a multi-method approach combining surveys and in-depth interviews. The study is motivated by the rising trend of online drama consumption on platforms such as YouTube and video streaming sites, which poses a challenge to traditional television drama. Findings indicate that the emergence of web drama in the Arab world is closely linked to social and political transformations, particularly the Arab Spring, which created new opportunities for uncensored expression. Results show that youth prefer online drama due to its time flexibility, diversity of topics, and higher audience interactivity, including comments and even participation in shaping storylines. The study applies Diffusion of Innovation Theory to explain the adoption and spread of online drama and Uses and Gratifications Theory to explore audience motivations. Key motives identified include entertainment, leisure, escapism, and engagement with relatable social issues. Additionally, socio-psychological impacts were found, such as fostering a sense of belonging to virtual communities and imitating behaviors portrayed in the series. The research concludes that watching drama online has become an established phenomenon among Egyptian youth, reflecting broader shifts in media consumption habits and underscoring the need for further exploration of its cultural and social implications. دور حملات الإعلام الرقمي في مواجهة التنمر الأخلاقي عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي
يشكل انتشار التنمر الأخلاقي على منصات وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي تحديات كبيرة للمجتمعات الرقمية، مما يستلزم استراتيجيات تدخل فعالة تبحث هذه الدراسة في دور الحملات الإعلامية الرقمية في مواجهة التنمر الأخلاقي وتعزيز السلوكيات الإيجابية عبر الإنترنت. شملت عينة الدراسة 201 فردا من مواطني المملكة العربية السعودية، وقد تم اختيارهم بطريقة العينة العشوائية. وقد تم توزيع استبيان على عينة الدراسة للحصول على إجابات حول الدراسة. لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة. تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي والتحليلي، وتم استخدام برنامج SPSS لإجراء التحليلات الإحصائية. وتم استخدام اختبار الارتباط البسيط لاختبار فرضيات الدراسة. تشير النتائج إلى أن حملات الوسائط الرقمية تلعب دورا حاسما في رفع مستوى الوعي وحشد العمل وتعزيز ثقافة الاحترام والتعاطف عبر الإنترنت. وتشمل التوصيات تعزيز تقسيم الجمهور، وتنويع تنسيقات المحتوى، والاستفادة من المؤثرين، والدعوة إلى سياسات أقوى للمنصة. يساهم هذا البحث في الفهم النظري والتطبيق العملي للحملات الإعلامية الرقمية في معالجة التنمر الأخلاقي على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي.
