Due to the ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic, several university students may find themselves unable to engage in conventional English language learning in a physical classroom setting. The imposition of online English instruction compromised the efficacy and outcomes of students' English learning. Therefore, there is a need for a diverse range of technology, media, and platforms to enhance their educational achievements. Using mobile devices and wireless networks to interact with other devices may improve the effectiveness of online English learning for students. To investigate university students' learning behaviors and attitudes, when using e-learning to study English, the current study aimed to assess curiosity, self-efficacy, equipment, experience, perceived ease of use, perceived utility, attitude towards using e-learning resources for English language acquisition, and the actual use of those technologies. This study used questionnaires sent to 4 universities, resulting in a total of 751 valid surveys. This research used Smart-PLS 4.0 to analyze the structural model and validate the hypotheses. The hypothesis testing findings revealed that attitude is the most influential factor in determining the adoption of e-learning for English language acquisition. Both results indicate that variables in the TAM (ease of use and usefulness) have a significant impact on e-learning use outcomes. Likewise, interest, self-efficacy, equipment, and experience factors are influencing e-learning use. In this regard, the research outcome provides rich theoretical understanding and immense practical explanatory power in language acquisition.

Lecturers' Perspectives on Using Virtual Classrooms in Education
2025
Objective: This study examines the perspectives of university lecturers in Palestine regarding the use of virtual classrooms in higher education, focusing on their preferences, satisfaction, perceived effectiveness, and the challenges faced. Methodology: A cross-sectional mixed-methods design was employed from January 10 to February 13, 2023. Quantitative data were collected using a structured online questionnaire containing 33 closed-ended questions, targeting 311 university lecturers across Palestinian institutions. Qualitative insights were gathered through follow-up interviews. Statistical analysis was conducted using the R cran program, applying the Mann-Whitney U-test and Kruskal-Wallis test to assess differences based on demographic variables. Results: Findings indicate that 71.4% of lecturers preferred virtual classrooms due to their structured nature and alignment with deadlines. Significant differences in preferences were observed among lecturers based on age, technological experience, and participation in training. Lecturers aged 25-30 showed the highest preference and satisfaction levels (mean = 3.96, p = 0.01). Those who received training demonstrated higher satisfaction (mean = 3.6) compared to those who had not (mean = 2.91, p <0.001). Despite general acceptance, 28.6% of lecturers experienced issues during distance teaching, particularly challenges related to curriculum delivery, student engagement, and technological limitations. These factors contributed to stress for 35.7% of respondents. Recommendations: To improve the virtual learning experience, Palestinian universities should invest in reliable internet and electricity infrastructure, provide ongoing digital training for faculty, and adapt curricula for online formats. Additionally, offering technical and psychological support to educators and students is essential for sustainable and effective virtual education.

Evaluating E-Books in the University Skills Course
The study aimed to identify the reality of the interactive E-book for the University Skills Course, and the problems and obstacles that trainers and students face when using. The sample of the research was made up of 60 trainers and 364 students, in which the trainer's survey was sent electronically through the university email to the trainers; the student's survey was sent electronically through the interactive E-book to the students who were studying the required course during the second term of the year 2023/2024. The results of the study showed that the variable \"number of years that the trainer has taught the required courses\" had an effect upon achieving complete benefit from the interactive E-book for the students. The positive aspects of this are many, including the availability of Power Points Presentations, exams, training sessions, and information resources; and an increase in student participation; and handing in their projects through the Blackboard system, which reinforces interaction between the trainer and student. The students reported that they benefitted from the components of the interactive E-book and from the interactive tools that were available on Blackboard. The study also showed some of the problems that trainers and students faced during the use of the interactive E-book. The most important problems were insufficient training on how to use the interactive E-book. The study concluded with some recommendations, the most prominent of which is training the trainers on how to benefit from the contents of the interactive E-book, on preparing academic contents for it, on methods for using electronic learning strategies that are included in the program, and including learning activities for the students to be carried out during the training sessions.
