The main purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of using hybrid learning on developing EFL first-year secondary stage students' oral vocabulary use and interaction. Two statistical hypotheses were formulated to guide this research. The research adopted the one group research design to examine the study hypotheses. The participants consisted of (N=30) first-year secondary stage students in 6th October secondary school for girls, 6th October educational directorate, in the academic year 2020/2021. The researcher designed instruments and materials which included a pre- post oral vocabulary use and interaction test, an analytic rubric of oral vocabulary use and interaction, and a hybrid learning-based program. The researcher used t-test for paired samples to determine whether there was a statistically significant difference between the pre and the post-administration. The results were analyzed statistically and revealed that the treatment group post-measurement outperformed the treatment group pre-measurement. Hence, results concluded that using hybrid learning was effective in developing EFL first-year secondary stage students' oral vocabulary use and interaction.

La présente contribution se donne pour projet de sonder le travail sur l'oral dans des classes de FLE. Pour ce faire, nous avons opté pour une observation non participante des interactions verbales qui se construisent au cours de leçons d'expression orale animées par trois enseignantes stagiaires. L'analyse de la gestion interactive a révélé une prééminence des interventions professorales de type didactique au détriment du développement de compétences de communication auprès des apprenants. Nous avons donc estimé que l'absence totale de formations dans ce domaine est le principal facteur des difficultés discursives rencontrées par les interactants

Cet article porte sur l'analyse des interactions verbales et de la communication dans les classes de langues. En utilisant la photographie journalistique pour stimuler les échanges verbaux, deux problèmes de base se posent dans l'enseignement des langues: la réflexion sur les supports pédagogique et l'activation des compétences interactionnelles orales. Bien que les images soient souvent utilisées dans les cours de langue, peu d'études ont été faites sur l'impact de ces supports en interaction didactique. L'hypothèse de base de notre recherche est formulée ainsi : en proposant un puissant tremplin en communication, la photographie peut stimuler suffisamment l'apprenant pour mobiliser un maximum de compétences langagières dans un contexte favorisant les échanges tout en maintenant la motivation de l'apprentissage et donc créer des conditions propices à l'appropriation de la langue cible.

عنوان الدراسة: فاعلية برنامج إرشادي أسري في خفض بعض اضطرابات النطق لدى عينة من تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية. الهدف من الدراسة: هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على فاعلية البرنامج الإرشادي الأسري في خفض بعض اضطرابات النطق لدى عينة من تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية. منهج الدراسة: استخدمت الدراسة الحالية المنهج التجريبي بتصميم المجموعة الواحدة ذات القياس القبلي والبعدي والتتبعي. عينة الدراسة: تكونت عينة الدراسة الحالية من عينة قوامها (٧) أطفال من تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية تتراوح أعمارهم ما بين (٦-١٢) سنة ممن يعانون من اضطرابات النطق وأمهاتهم، بمتوسط حسابي (8.4) وانحراف معياري (1.12)، وتم اختيارهم من مدارس التعليم المجتمعي بإدارة أبوتيج التعليمية، محافظة أسيوط. أدوات الدراسة: استخدم الباحث في الدراسة أدوات تمثلت في: 1-استمارة جمع البيانات الأولية (إعداد الباحث). ٢-مقياس كفاءة النطق المصور (إعداد إيهاب عبد العزيز الببلاوي، ٢٠٠٧). ٣-البرنامج الإرشادي الأسري (إعداد الباحث). نتائج البحث: قد توصلت نتائج الدراسة الحالية إلى: ١-توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (٠.٠٥) بين نتائج التطبيق القبلي لأبعاد مقياس كفاءة النطق المصور وعند مستوى (٠.٠١) للمقياس ككل ونتائج التطبيق البعدي لصالح التطبيق البعدي لدى أعضاء المجموعة التجريبية. ٢-لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05) بين نتائج التطبيق البعدي لأبعاد مقياس كفاءة النطق المصور وللمقياس ككل ونتائج التطبيق التتبعي (بعد فترة زمنية شهر) لدى أعضاء المجموعة التجريبية.

The purpose of this study was to determine the difficulties with an oral presentation in the third-Year English students at El-mergib University in the academic years 2021 and 2022. Because it was comparable to gathering data from students, it applied observation and descriptive qualitative approaches as a design and framework. The data was collected using a questionnaire that had 25 statements in it. 24 students made up the sample for this study. During observations of the English Department College of Arts at El-mergib University for 10 students, the questionnaire will be distributed to 24 students, and it will be collected using a random sampling technique. The findings showed that the students struggle with oral presentations in classroom interaction due to a lack of confidence, issues with understanding the subject, issues with organizing their thoughts, teachers' expectations, and issues with time management. Furthermore, the students' main fears were anxiousness and lack of confidence, especially while giving oral presentations. Therefore, the appropriate approaches are required to address those difficulties.

The present study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of an online program based on StoryJumper for developing EFL 2nd year pupils' oral proficiency skills. One instrument was developed for the purpose of this study; a pre-post oral proficiency skills test. The participants of the study consisted of sixty students selected randomly from EFL 2nd year pupils at Damietta Official Language School in the academic year 2023/2024. The study adopted the quasi-experimental research design. Therefore, the participants were randomly assigned into two groups: an experimental group (n=30) and a control one (n=30). The experimental group received training through the proposed program based on StoryJumper. On the other hand, the control group received instruction through the regular method. Participants were pre- and post-tested on the instrument: the EFL oral proficiency skills test (CRST). Results revealed that the experimental group outperformed the control group in the post administration of the EFL oral proficiency skills test. The study concluded that the program based on StoryJumper (an online storytelling platform) enhanced EFL 2nd year pupils' oral proficiency skills. A number of recommendations and suggestions for further studies were presented.

تمثل \"عبارات الارتكاز\" وحدات لغوية ترد على شكل عبارات قصيرة ومقتضبة يستعملها المتكلم أثناء التواصل الشفوي لتقطيع الكلام، خاصة في حالات الانفعال وتعطل الحدث الكلامي، لأهداف تواصلية تبليغية يهدف من خلالها إلى ضمان استرسال الكلام والتبادل التحادثي وتبليغ المقاصد والمضامين الدلالية للرسالة اللسانية. وقد أهملت الدراسات تناولها ومعالجتها فلهذا سعينا من خلال هذا المقال إلى بيان مفهومها وأبرز التعريفات الواردة في شأنها وكيفية معالجتها في الفكر اللساني القديم والحديث، منتهجين منهجا وصفيا تحليليا. وتوصلنا إلى أن هذه العبارات تُستعمل في حالات الانفعال لتقطيع الكلام وضمان تواصل تسلسل الأفكار، كما بينا أنها تمثل روابط تُدرج في ثنايا الخطاب لضمان اتساقه وانسجامه وقدرته على تبليغ المقاصد والأغراض التواصلية. ويمكننا القول إن عبارات الارتكاز تعد جزءاً من النشاط اللغوي لا يمكن تجاهله لأن اللغة لابد أن تُدرس في جميع تمظهراتها التعبيرية.

إن الحديث عن استخدام شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي للتواصل بين الشعوب والأمم والثقافات سواء المتشابهة أو المتقاربة يظل في حاجة إلى مزيد من الاهتمام والدراسة، وإلى تجميع المعلومات وربطها وتنسيقها، ذلك أن مثل هذه التكنولوجيات حديثة العهد، لكنها عميقة التأثير، لواحقها وتطبيقاتها متسارعة الظهور والتطور، لذلك وجب عدم تفويت منافع الخدمات الجليلة التي تقدمها، والتي أضحت تتعدى في أدوارها ووظائفها العديد من المؤسسات التقليدية، لكن دون إغفال الأخيرة، حيث نجد الاتصال الشخصي الذي لا يخفي دوره في المجتمعات التقليدية والانتقالية التي تهيمن فيها الثقافة الشفوية والروابط الشخصية والعائلية التقليدية، حيث تتوفر مساحات واسعة داخل المجتمع لتوظيف هذا النمط الفعال من الاتصال، كالحملات الإعلامية وحملات التوعية والتحسيس وغيرها.
