Cultural Diversity and Peaceful Coexistence in Islam | التنوع الثقافي والتعايش السلمي في الاسلام
In this research, I wanted to explain the approach of Islam in the issue of cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence in societies and its impact on that, explaining the correct view of Islam and its goal that emphasizes harmony and peaceful coexistence in the presence of cultural diversity. One of the most important results of the research is that Islam believes in diversity and cultural pluralism, being a divine will that came for a very effective purpose that's only known by Allah the Almighty, and that Islam calls for the consolidation of the principle of human dignity, whatever his or her religion, gender, race, color, or belief. I divided this brief research into two topics.  In the first topic, I talked about the concept of cultural diversity and the care of Islamic legislation with practical examples, and in the second topic the concept of peaceful coexistence and its application, and the research approach that I used is the approach of desk research.

The Effect of Corporate Governance Characteristics and Gender Diversity on Dividends Decision
Purpose - The current study investigates the effects of several corporate governance characteristics and gender diversity facets on the dividends decision. Moreover, the moderating effect of ESG has been scrutinized on the relationship between board characteristics and gender diversity with dividends decision. Design/methodology/approach -Logistic regression model has been utilized on a sample of 120 EGX listed companies between 2012 and 2019. The non-board data that has been collected from DataStream, the board information has been gathered based on the financial statements and websites of the companies. Findings - The results of the study demonstrated a substantial positive relationship between gender diversity and dividends decision. Additionally, the association between gender diversity and dividend decision is moderated by ESG. Furthermore, the decision to declare a dividend is significantly positively correlated with the board's size, but negatively correlated with the board's independence. Moreover, neither the relationship between board size nor board independence on dividends decision is significantly moderated by ESG. Originality/value - Results hold up well to determine the imperative role of board characteristics and more specifically the gender diversity in dividend decision-making and on ESG. They thus offer compelling evidence in favor of the significance of sustainability in dividends decision.
Exploring the Impact of Sociolinguistic Instruction on EFL Learners' Awareness of Language Communication Stereotypes
The objective of this study is to examine the effectiveness of sociolinguistic instruction in augmenting EFL learners' awareness of language communication stereotypes and in challenging and reshaping their perceptions and attitudes towards them. This research administers a structured questionnaire to a random sample of 60 master one students at Djelfa University. The questionnaire is designed to gauge students' awareness of language communication stereotypes across various dimensions. The research yields compelling insights into the transformative potential of sociolinguistic instruction. Key findings underscore that EFL learners exposed to such instruction exhibit heightened awareness of language communication stereotypes. The study identifies specific areas of impact, with notable changes observed in students' perceptions of accent, region and gender-related stereotypes. These results affirm the pedagogical significance of sociolinguistic instruction in challenging preconceived notions and fostering a more inclusive approach to communication.
Empowering University Students in Intercultural Communication Course
This paper introduces an in-depth qualitative study investigating the profound effect of Service Learning (SL) on teaching/learning Intercultural Communication courses to university students. These courses develop students' cognitive and behavioral skills and foster their social and cultural awareness. Regarding the methodology, the experience draws on the four stages of Kolb's experiential learning cycle (1984/2015): 1) Concrete Experience, 2) Reflective Observation, 3) Abstract Conceptualization, and 4) Active Experimentation. The study chose two authentic civic action projects: an outreach campaign about stereotypes and bias, and an awareness theatrical show about cultural perceptions and their impact on thoughts and behavior. Hence, the study tries to answer two research questions: (1) what effect does SL have on students' intercultural course competencies? (2) how far does Kolb's experiential learning model apply to the Intercultural Communication curriculum? The results revealed that implementing SL into Intercultural Communication courses promotes students' capability to contextualize cultural concepts in real-life situations, increase comprehension of cultural variations, and bridge the gap between academic material and practice. It also presents a systematic framework for applying SL to Intercultural Communication courses. The study limitation was the small number of students, accordingly, it encourages other educators to apply the presented framework to larger groups.
Teaching Cross-Cultural Socio-Pragmatics to Curb Cross-Cultural Pragmatic Failure
There is an interactive relationship between language and culture. On one hand, language is the primary instrument of culture and a necessary prerequisite for its development. On the other hand, it is regarded as a vital component of culture and a cultural product. Based on this rationale, it becomes important to not only teach lexical semantics, rules, and grammar, but also socio-pragmatics across cultures. The purpose of this study is to explore: First, whether teaching cross-cultural socio-pragmatics can help curb cross-cultural pragmatic failure. Second, since the teaching of socio-pragmatics across cultures is not formalized, this study explores to what extent its formalization can help solve the cross- cultural pragmatic failure. Third, the research will determine which components of cross-cultural socio-pragmatics, when formalized and taught, are most helpful in preventing pragmatic failure across cultures. The Research method is a qualitative research approach. The data are collected from secondary sources by using document analysis; in which scholarly articles and journals related to the subject are reviewed for the data needed. Results indicate that language is classified as socially acquired knowledge together with other components of culture. Culture plays an important role in language learning, and the survival of a large number of linguistic species is dependent on the existence of cultures. Recommendations highlight the importance of formalization in the teaching of pragmatics to curb pragmatic failure by evoking pragmatic consciousness into the learning environment that constitutes the landscape of applied education.
