Furthermore, they managed to capture time and moments in their eternal manifestations, embracing all events, whether grand or trivial, in a memory that knows no forgetfulness. Indeed, this new art emerged on celluloid strips, taking us on an extraordinary journey to embrace the various facets of the arts as a whole.

The Role of Cinema in a Post-Oil Saudi Economy
The article explores the role of non-profit organisations in the development of the film industry in Saudi Arabia through a case study of the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, known as Ithra. This research focuses on the timeframe between 2016 to the end of 2019. This article investigates the relationship between non-profit organisations and the commercial film industry and how the private sector aims to address the public interest in Saudi Arabia as it relates to the film industry. The article contains an analysis of Ithra's strategy and interventions with other government organisations to support the film industry's development, and it draws from a personal interview with the head of the cinema department at Ithra, Majed Samman. This article argues that Ithra has positioned itself as a dominant force in the industry, and that it promotes the government's image in the West and markets the country's culture to others.

فن فهم السينما بين اللغة والنظرية
يتناول هذا الكتاب الأطر الفلسفية والجمالية التي تشكل لغة السينما، محاولاً فك شفرات \"الصورة\" وتحويلها من مادة بصرية مجردة إلى نص قابل للقراءة والتحليل. يستعرض المؤلف \"حمادي كيروم\" النظريات السينمائية الكلاسيكية والمعاصرة، باحثاً في كيفية بناء المعنى من خلال زوايا التصوير، والمونتاج، والضوء، والإيقاع الزمني. كما يركز العمل على العلاقة الجدلية بين \"اللغة السينمائية\" وبين المتلقي، موضحاً كيف تساهم النظرية في تعميق تجربة المشاهدة وتحويلها من استهلاك عابر إلى فعل نقدي معرفي، مما يجعله دليلاً نظرياً وتطبيقياً هاماً لفهم الأدوات التعبيرية التي تجعل من السينما فناً قائماً بذاته.

القضايا البدوية كما عكستها السينما المصرية
تسعى الدراسة الراهنة إلى الكشف عن القضايا البدوية كما عكستها الأفلام السينمائية، تلك القضايا التي طرحت في التراث التاريخي، والتراث البحثي البدوي. وقد اتخذت الدراسة من نظرية التفاعلية الرمزية والثقافة الفرعية إطارا نظريا لها، واعتمدت على منهج المسح الاجتماعي بأسلوبيه المسح الشامل، والمسح بالعينة، والمنهج التاريخي، واستعانت بأداة تحليل المضمون من خلال استمارة تحليل المضمون الكمي والكيفي. وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من ۲۱ فيلما غطت الفترة الزمنية من خمسينيات القرن العشرين وحتى العقد الثاني من القرن الحادي والعشرين. وقد كشفت نتائج الدراسة عن وجود ٦٥ فيلما عن البدو في السينما المصرية؛ ۱۹ فيلما منها عن البدو العرب بشكل عام، و٤٦ عن بدو مصر بشكل خاص. تم التركيز على الأفلام التي تناولت البدو في مصر، كما كشفت النتائج عن وجود ست قضايا أساسية تناولتها الأفلام السينمائية، وتم تقسيمها إلى قضايا اجتماعية التهميش والعزلة الاجتماعية، الرؤى المتبادلة بين البدوي والحضري، وقضايا قانونية رفض الامتثال للقانون الوضعي وضع اليد \"الملكية غير الرسمية\"، وقضايا سياسية علاقة البدو بالسلطة والأجهزة الرسمية، الوطنية والانتماء).
