في هذا الكتاب يوثق الكاتب مجموعة من رحلاته إلى عدة مدن منها: موسكو، وجورجيا، وطهران، وإندونيسيا والهند، وتونس وبروندي، وزنجبار، وبابل بالعراق، وغيرها من المدن، الكتاب يقع في حوالي (198) صفحة وشمل مجموعة صور ملونة لكل مدينة زارها الكاتب خلال رحلاته الصحفية، مقتربا من أدب الرحلات، فقد كتب عن أمكنة ومدن بأسلوب يجمع بين الصحفي والأدبي.

Poetry and the Politics of Resistance and Revolution
This interdisciplinary study highlights the interdependency between poetry and political activism. Reviewing resistance, the researcher develops her literary criticism of the two poems in the light of the views of Steven Duncombe, James Scott, Charles Tripp and David Jefferess. A study of cultural resistance maintains a perspective of Gramsci's war of position/ war of manoeuver and shows that opposition can be elaborated into political activism. Resistance as opposition attacks colonial capitalism and economic fascism which foster a Manichean dualism of the social divisions between the othered poor and the dominant rich. Examining undeclared resistance, there is a discrepancy between the hidden and the public records of the text, therefore the researcher should be aware of the techniques of infrapolitical writing so as to understand the messages written between the lines. Being intertwined with revolutions, resistance art intensifies traumatic pain so as to lead to its redemption. Resistance as transformation advocates a change of the policies which do not maintain human equality such as colonialism and state capitalism, thus defending human liberation. In the two poems, a poetics of insurgency and transformative revolution emanate from an experience of suppression. The poet's rebellion against the colonial existence motivates a decolonial transformation paradigm. Similarly, cultural hegemony and class stratification encourage a counter-hegemonic action against the institutionalized oppression of civil society.

كتاب شهوة الأجنحة ينتمي لأدب الرحلات، حيث تروي فيه غادة السمان رحلاتها في دول الشرق الأقصى سنغافورة وماليزيا وغيرها، لتحكي لنا عن الشعوب ونفسيتها وعادات أفرادها وروح البلد ذاتها والأماكن التي زارتها، ثم تنتقل إلى رحلة في الغرب إلي أمريكا، وتنقل للقارئ وجهة نظرها في أمريكا كبلد وكشعب، وتناول الكتاب الوجه الآخر لكل مدينة الذي يحترف سكانها دوما إخفاؤه عن أعين السائحين والزوار الجدد، فاستطاعت المؤلفة في هذا الكتاب أن توضح وتبرز للقارئ هذه المدن عن قرب كأنه أحد سكانها الأصليين.

Neo-liberal Narratives or Neo-orientalism
This study argues for an articulation of 'neo-orientalism' in order to situate neoliberal agendas (ideology) as an expression of neo-orientalist discourse in a globalized world. Analysis explores these attitudes on the status of Arab Muslim woman by referring to The Dawn by Homa Pourasgari (2009), which extensively elaborates on the dichotomous comparison between the oppressive East and the neoliberal West and how that is reflected in the life of Arab woman. This study on the status of Arab woman in Islam reflects on narrative writers' attitudes related to neoliberal ideology, religion, and geo-politics and to prove the necessity for an analysis based on conventional selection of subject matter. Focusing on neoliberal thought, the study details how neoliberal ideology operates from above, akin to a form of military intervention, and below, attracting minds and hearts, through a full-blown cultural program to exercise neoliberal influence, while penalizing societies that refuse to participate. Therefore, neo-orientalist discourse is governed by the brutal instrumentalist tools of liberalization, democratization, and modernity. Neo-orientalist discourse implements these terms through the terminology of neoliberal logic; it is a form of convergent rhetoric that holds practices and discourses of both to establish a ground for geo-political and cultural dominance.

يحتضن الكتاب، نزرا يسيرا من جملة أسفار ورحلات قام بها بنجلون نحو الدول العربية والآسيوية والغربية، إذ لم يدرج فيه إلا ما سنحت له الظروف بكتابته، قائلا : إنه حاول ما أمكنه ألا يكرر التجارب الماضية في هذا الجنس السردي الأثير، خصوصا تلك التي أرتكزت على دواعي الرحلة وما رآه الرحالة من آثار وحضارة وعمران وتطور في كل المجالات والميادين، وكذا العوائق والعراقيل حتى أصبحت الرحلات توائم بعضها يستنسخ بعضا. وأعتمد بنجلون في هذه الكتابة الرحلية على ما وقف عليه وشاهده بعينه فتحدث عنه ودونه باقتضاب شديد، مركزا على إقامته في ديار الغربة، وما لفت نظره سواء في السلوك البشري أو في طبيعة البلد المختلفة عن بلده، محاولا ألا يفرط في شيء. ويبرز العربي بنجلون، من خلال تقديمه دواعي رحلاته التي كمنت أولا من خلال ما حكي له عن جده لأبيه، الذي كان مدمنا على السفر في عصر كان فيه السفر قطعة من العذاب، وثانيا أنه في عز شبابه اكتشف متعة الرحلة ولذتها وما يمكنه أن يجنيه من فوائد ومقاصد ثقافية أغنت حياته الحياتية الكتابية، وشكلت تضاريس شخصيته ما جعله دائما على أهبة السفر، متنقلا بين الدول.

The History of Feminism in the Arab World
This paper investigates the history of Arab feminism. It traces how those women came from different parts of Arab world and how they developed their awareness towards women's issues, though they do not call themselves as 'feminists' at the beginning. The paper aims to study the history of feminism in the Arab world. To show the struggle of the first Arab women feminists. To focus on the crucial issues of women's concern. The paper uses feminist approach as it concerns with women's important issues. The study traces how the Arab feminism started in Egypt and then the other parts of Arab World as Egypt has been the first Arab country to get its independence from the British rule. The concern for women issues started first in the national level as struggle for their independence and after the independence the struggle changed to women issues. The paper concluded by stating that the struggle of Arab women's feminist discourse advocated to significant women's problems like education, work, and the right for suffrage. They also confronted by other troubles, such as breaking out of gender segregation.

قدم المقال مؤشرات إحصائية مختارة حول الصناعة في البلدان العربية. واشتمل المقال على سبعة جداول إحصائية، عرض الجدول رقم (1) القيمة المضافة للقطاع الصناعي ونسبة مساهمته في الناتج المحلي الإجمالي في البلدان العربية (2017)، فيما يعرض الجدول رقم (2) مساهمة العاملين في القطاع الصناعي في إجمالي العمالة في البلدان العربية، أما الجدول رقم (3) فعني بنصيب العامل الصناعي من القيمة المضافة في القطاع الصناعي والكفاءة الاقتصادية الصناعية في البلدان العربية (2017)، بينما يعرض الجدول رقم (4) مستوى إنتاج الصناعات الاستخراجية أو متوسط نصيب الفرد من القيمة المضافة للصناعات الاستخراجية، وتناول الجدول رقم (5) مستوى إنتاج الصناعات التحويلية أو متوسط نصيب الفرد من القيمة المضافة للصناعات التحويلية، وقدم الجدول رقم (6) بيانات بساهمة الصناعات الاستخراجية في الناتج المحلي الإجمالي، بينما تُظهر بيانات الجدول رقم (7) مساهمة الصناعات التحويلية في الناتج المحلي الإجمالي. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2022
