الأنساق الاستعارية في القصة السعودية القصيرة
هذه دراسة في الأساليب الاستعارية في القصة السعودية القصيرة، تهدف إلى كشف أنساق تلك الأساليب، لا من حيث المفردات بل من حيث السياقات؛ لأن الاستعارة المعاصرة لم تعد كلمة مجازية تحل مكان كلمة حقيقية، إنما هي تصور يدل على تصور آخر ضمن نسق مفهومي؛ من خلال استضافة حقل معرفي لمفردات حقل معرفي آخر، ولا يدرك الحقل الهدف إلا بإدراك الحقل المصدر، كما أن هذه الدراسة تهدف أيضا إلى استجلاء طرق توظيف الأساليب الاستعارية لدى نخبة من كتاب القصة السعودية القصيرة، وقد اتبعت الدراسة منهجية الاستقراء والتحليل من خلال جمع الشواهد من عدة نماذج قصصية، كما أنها توصلت إلى مجموعة من النتائج؛ من أبرزها: مواكبة كتاب القصة السعودية القصيرة للتطور الذي حدث في استخدام الأساليب الاستعارية المعاصرة، ومرونة تلك الأساليب واندماجها مع مختلف الأنظمة السردية.

جمالية القص بين الصياغة اللغوية والمعالجة السينمائية : مقاربة سينمائية
يتحدث الكتاب على اختلاف تعامل الأقصوصة والفيلم مع أحداث الحكاية وهيكلاها بطريقين متباينتين فقد أكسبت الخصائص الوسائطية المميزة للأقصوصة لحظة التنوير خطورتها وجعلت النهاية السريعة المفاجئة مقوما من مقومات أدبيتها ولعل هذه الخاصية هي الخاصية التي جعلت جويس يسميها بـ (الإشراقات أو الكشوف) أما السنيما فتعرض ولا تسرد وتمثل شأنها شأن الذوال المرئية (تشعبات متزامنة ذات أبعاد) فكانت اللقطة الواحدة تشتمل في الآن نفسه على الديكور والملابس والإضاءة.

\I've Got out at Last\
Drawing on Raewyn Connell's concept \"hegemonic masculinity\" and engaging the critical line of feminism, this article argues that Gilman's \"The Yellow Wallpaper\" unearths the institutional dynamics that sustain the masculine hegemonic discourse. This article reads this short story as counter-hegemony, the narrator of which critiques what Gramsci called \"manufacture of consent\", wherein ideas and beliefs are shaped, and hegemony is reproduced, through culture. We argue that Gilman accounts for the ways in which gender hierarchy is maintained through consent rather than force, and she endorses a struggle over ideas and beliefs to create counter-hegemony that contests socially-constructed dominant ideas and beliefs. This article therefore demonstrates the narrator's counter-hegemonic practices that allow for self-representation and positional autonomy. The article further illustrates ways in which these practices shape coherent female community that aims to subvert patriarchal power and undermine gendered binary structures. It concludes that the story anticipates the transformation of women from the periphery to the center; it instructs the counter- mechanisms that women need to use to subvert authority and invent their own world.
