يعتبر نظام النقل وتطوره من العمليات المهمة والمكملة للإنتاج الاقتصادي والتنمية الشاملة سواء على مستوى الدولة أو المدينة، ولهذا تقاس مدنية دول العالم وتقدمها بما وصلت إليه وسائط النقل البري والنهري والبحر والجوي والكهربائي والحديدي والهاتفي والأنبوبي من تطور وإنتشار ودقة في النظم التي تسير فيها. إذ لولا هذه الوسائل المختلفة لما حدثت عملية التبادل التجاري في قريتنا العالمية الصغيرة هذه، في عصر العولمة والقطب الأوحد في النظام العالمي الحالي، ولما تمكن الإنسان من تعمير وإستيطان الأراضي البكر الجديدة في كل الدول والقارات.

Obstacles to Effective Strategic Planning in Transportation and Crowd Management
Objectives: This study aims to investigate the challenges faced by employees in the Hajj and Umrah System in implementing effective strategic planning for transportation and crowd management. Methods: A survey was conducted with 63 employees, collecting data on key demographics, including gender, professional experience, education level, and age. The study analyzed participants' perceptions of obstacles affecting strategic planning, transportation, and crowd management. Results: Findings reveal that 69.4% of participants recognize significant barriers to strategic planning, such as insufficient human resources and inadequate inter-unit coordination. Additionally, 71.2% acknowledge that limited resources, expertise, and follow-up hinder transportation operations, while 70.0% identify similar challenges in crowd management, including a lack of qualified personnel and budget constraints. No significant differences in perceptions were found based on demographic factors. Conclusions: The study highlights a consensus among employees on the barriers to effective strategic planning. Policymakers and management are urged to improve resource allocation, provide advanced training, and enhance coordination to optimize transportation and crowd management strategies. Additionally, future research should explore the impact of specific training programs and innovative technologies to address resource constraints and improve coordination among units in the Hajj and Umrah System.

إن الازدحام المتزايد في وسائط النقل بشتى أنواعها جعل من الضروري الاهتمام بتنظيمها ودراستها بشكل تفصيلي وتخطيطي حتى تؤدي دورها في خدمة الإنسان وتصغير هذه البقعة التي نعيش فيها وهنا قد أفرد المؤلف في كتابه جزءا مهما وهو الموانئ وتنظيمها وهندستها كونها جزءا لا يتجزأ من وسائط النقل وهو النقل البحري الذي اتسعت رقعته في الآونة الأخيرة وأصبح من الضروري تنظيم هذا القطاع حيث أن الجزء الأكبر من هذه الكرة الأرضية يشكلها الماء وأصبح السفن والقوارب بشتى أنواعها في تزايد مستمر.

Household Transportation Expenditure in Jordan
This study analyzes the extent of differences among the percentages of household expenditure on transportation among governorates in Jordan. It is based on the statistical surveys conducted on household expenditures by the Department of Statistics in Jordan for six irregular years during the period 2002 to 2017. The results indicate that households in Amman have the highest amounts of expenditures on transportation, but they are not the highest in proportions compared to the total expenditures. The model was estimated using the generalized least squares technique (GLS) with panel data for the study period. GLS is fully efficient and yields consistent estimates of the standard errors since it eliminates serial correlation and inconsistency. Based on the regression analysis results, it is evident that the percentage of transportation expenditure from total spending is significantly less in Amman than other governorates, except for Aqaba

Development of an Evaluation Tool after the Sustainable Urban Transport Project
The introduction of a new means of transport such as the tramway in Constantine would improve the conditions of movement and the quality of the image of the city by giving it a new effect through the qualitative urban development on its route. The realization of a transport infrastructure such as a \"tramway line\" is an operation requiring the cooperation and interaction of several actors and specialists, these teams cannot work without a good management. Our research consists in developing a decision support tool in a logic of sustainable and participative development, in a multi-criteria and multi-actors context and this after the realization of a sustainable urban transport project by an a posteriori evaluation of the effects of this mode of transport on the urban system of the human settlement of Constantine. Finally, we can say that we must now live in harmony with the tramway in operation. In summary, it is necessary to launch educational and preventive activities as well as promotional activities, which would inform, train and encourage desirable behaviors of citizens.
