يتناول الكتاب (أبحاث في علم اللغة النصي وتحليل الخطاب) والذي قامه بتأليفه (الأستاذ الدكتور جاسم علي جاسم) في حوالي (240 صفحة) من القطع المتوسط موضوع (اللغات وتحليل الخطاب) وهو مؤلف مخصص ودراسة لغوية تتمحور حول علم اللغة وتحليل الخطاب وجاءت موزعة على أربعة فصول تحدثت عن الاتساق اللغوي والاتساق المعجمي والانسجام الدلالي والانسجام التداولي من خلال التطبيق على سور كريمات من القرآن الكريم.

A Critical Discourse Analysis of Martin Crimp's Piece \Advice to Iraqi Women\
Language is a vehicle for social values and ideologies that a man intends or attempts to express. Dramatic texts are one of the discursive practices that embody values and ideologies. What is expressed in dramatic text is deliberate because it is meant to affect other's values, trends and ideologies in one way or another. Such ideologies and values are not explicit. To bring them out requires putting language under scrutiny to unveil what is implied. The present study attempts to analyze a dramatic script entitled Advice to Iraqi Women by the British playwright Martin Crimp in an attempt to unveil the intended political ideologies underlying the text. The title reflects a political aspect embedded in the word \"Iraqi\" that brings to the mind the war broken out there at that time. Notwithstanding that the script is written in such an unusual manner that appears to the reader or the spectator to be domestic, familiar and free from any political indications. The model adopted in the analysis of Crimp's theatrical piece is that of van Dijk's macro and microstructure analysis within critical discourse analysis. Results have manifested the political ideologies that the writer intends to convey. He attempted to bridge a gap and render the English society to be associated emotionally with the repercussions of the remote war by amalgamating what is familiar with what is unfamiliar.

إهتم هذا العمل بالبحث في آليات الخطاب وكيفية إشتغالها وتفاعلها الإبداعي وتداخلها البنيوي من خلال مؤلفين إثنين : بدائع الفوائد لإبن قيم الجوزية والروض الأنف لأبي القاسم السهيلي. وللتعريف بخصوصية إرتباط العمل بالمؤلفين المذكورين يستعرض الباحث مجموعة من الإعتبارات العلمية التي كانت وراء الإهتمام بهما على غيرهما من المؤلفات.

البحث في الأدب المقارن
تهدف هذه الدراسة التي نترجمها هنا لإسماعيل سليماني إلى لفت الانتباه إلى ما أصبح عليه الأدب المقارن في الوقت الراهن. ولبلوغ ذلك يتتبع الباحث تطور هذا الميدان منذ أن أسسه رواده الأوائل من أمثال أومبير Ampère وكلود بيتشوا Claude Pichois وأندريه ميشيل روسو André-Michel Rousseau. وما يريده الباحث من هذه الدراسة هو أن تقوم بتوضيح الحوار الثقافي بين الشمال والجنوب، وأن تطمح إلى تسليط الضوء على متغير خطابي مرتبط بممارسة الخطاب الأدبي، وذلك على النحو الذي حدده دومينيك مانجونو Dominique Maingueneau في إطار المدرسة الفرنسية لتحليل الخطاب.

التحقيق في تغطية خبر وفاة \شيمون بيريز\ في الصحف العربية المختارة استنادا إلى أنموذج تحليل الخطاب النقدي
غالباً ما يكون الخبر المنشور في وسائل الإعلام المكتوبة عن الشخصيات السياسية هادفا ومتأثرا بالتوجه الفكري لمنتجي النصوص. يتم تمثيل للشخصيات السياسية بشكل تحتل مكانة خاصة في ذهن الجمهور أو القراء. ويرتبط منتجو هذه النصوص بمصادر السلطة ويعبرون عن أيديولوجيتهم في سياق النص ضمناً أو صراحة. يمكن تمييز الأيديولوجيات المقدمة في مثل هذه النصوص بتوظيف نموذج تحليل الخطاب النقدي والتشكيك في طبيعتها الطبيعية والشرعية. في هذا المقال، ومن خلال مراجعة وسائل الإعلام المختارة، يتم تحليل نوع تغطية وفاة شمعون بيريز من منظور تحليل الخطاب. وأظهرت نتيجة المقال أن وفاة شمعون بيريز هي قضية أيديولوجية، وقد استفادت أغلب الصحف من المكونات الخطابية في بث هذا الخبر. والأدوات الخطابية، أو أدوات توليد السلطة، والعوامل الانحيازية في الصحف قيد الدراسة على النحو الآتي: \"الاستناد\"، \"التقييم\"، \"إعلان عن المنصب\"، \"تسليط الضوء\"، \"التمويه\"، \"الاستدلال\".

Critical Discourse Analysis of Torturing Male Prisoners in Abu Ghraib in the Independent's Political Reports
The present study under the title \"Critical discourse Analysis of Torturing Male Prisoners in Abu Ghraib in The Independent's Political reports\" is interested in revealing issues of power, dominance and ideologies in the political reports which talk about violence against men in Abu Ghraib. Revealing these issues in the report will be according to the use of CDA approach depending on the two scholars who are interested in this approach, Tuen Van Dijk, Norman Fairclough. In this study, there is a use of language as a tool to express dominance, power and ideology. With these linguistic elements, the previous issues are exploited indirectly by the American forces. We aim in this study to identify all the linguistic elements which symbolize violence in the selected report. Then, we will explain its function in this report which is used pragmatically. After that, we explain the issues of power, dominance and ideologies and check whether they are used in these reports implicitly or explicitly. We selected one report to be analyzed in this paper. This report was taken from the British Newspaper \"The Independent\". Selecting these Extracts was based on the using of many linguistic elements which refer to violence in Abu Ghraib. We used the qualitative approach in analyzing the data, because we deal with behavioral study, and it is the preferable approach in analyzing studies like these. In this method, we depend on the narrative way in the analysis rather than using numbers or statistics. The model adopted in this study will be an eclectic one depending on Fairclough's three-dimensional approach and Van Dijk's socio-cognitive approach. These models are interested in the texts with their social and cultural function. The findings have included the use of linguistic elements of violence in these reports in many lines. The function of these linguistic elements was used indirectly in a hidden way. The study also revealed that issues of power, dominance and ideologies were exploited pragmatically in the American speeches. Our aims and hypotheses have been achieved in the findings and conclusions. In the last lines of chapter five, we gave some recommendations and suggestions for further studies.

This study aims at finding out the attitudes adopted by Trump and Clinton in presidential debates to convince the voter of their views, opinions, beliefs, stances, and behaviour. As such, the pragmatic functions of the candidates' attitudes are to be investigated and how much persuasion a candidate has obtained while arguing for or against a certain topic or a given issue.
