المنتديات الإلكترونية بين التفاعلية وفن الحوار الافتراضي
تمثل ثورة المعلومات التي يعيشها العالم في الوقت الراهن أحد أهم مراحل التطور التاريخي، حيث أسفرت هذه الثورة المعلوماتية عن التغيرات الكبرى التي حدثت في الصناعة الإعلامية، وأنماط استهلاك المعلومات، وإنتاجها، ونشرها، والتشارك في مضامينها. فالتحول نحو التصنيع والتحديث في مختلف مجالات الحياة، وما ارتبط بهذا كله من تقدم هائل في العلوم والتكنولوجيا وتعقد العلاقات الإنسانية وتشعبها وتشابكها، قد استوجب كله حدوث تغيرات جذرية ضخمة في مجال الاتصال، وقد نجم عن هذا التغيير في المحل الأول ازدياد الشعور بضرورة الاتصال بالجماهير الواسعة العريضة المتباينة ليس فقط داخل المجتمع الواحد، بل في العالم ككل. يأتي هذا الكتاب ليحلل جزئية من جزئيات الإعلام الجديد واحد وسائله الهامة وهي منتديات الحوار الإلكترونية، ويرمي هذا البحث إلى بلوغ جملة من الأهداف، ويكتسب حسب تقديرنا أهمية بالغة خاصة في ظل التحولات العميقة الحاصلة في مناحي الحياة كافة؛ نتيجة سيطرة تطبيقات الإعلام البديل وتنامي البحوث المعمقة في هذا المجال البحثي الجديد. وتبقى للظواهر الاتصال الإلكترونية خصوصيات تتنوع باختلاف البلد وثقافة الأطراف الفاعلين فيها وانتماءاتهم المذهبية والفكرية وكذا أهدافهم التي يسعون لتحقيقها من خلال ممارساتهم الافتراضية، لذا فمن الصعب توحيد الأحكام التقييمية على الساحة الإلكترونية العربية ككل؛ أو توقع حدوث التأثير بنفس الدرجة على كل الشعوب.

Students' Interaction and Attitude in Online Discussion in Learning Management System
This study provides guidelines in designing online discussion. It examined the effect of role assignment in text-based asynchronous online discussion on interaction and quality of interaction in online discussion in two treatment groups. Two online discussion groups introduced the roles in their activity; one presented the roles in an abstract description and the other one presented the roles in concrete instructions with examples. The study was part of an online course project for 134 undergraduate students. While other studies focused on the function and the effect of the role assignments, this study was interested on students' attitude toward the roles, the instructions presented these roles, and their experience of online discussion with the use of the assigned roles. There were two research questions were discussed in the study. Separate ANOVA analyses were carried out to investigate the effect of four assigned roles on interaction and quality of interaction in two conditions. The finding showed a high level of quality of interaction of the students' posts during the discussion. The results showed no differences in the dependent variables in the two conditions. However, there was a variation in the quality of interaction between the roles in each group. In addition, students' attitude survey showed positive attitude toward the roles used in the study and that was reflected on the high level of the quality of their posts. The study recommended future research to investigate the effect of more roles. It is also recommended to find the relationship between the group size and interaction as well as investigate students' satisfaction with the roles they were assigned.
