تستعرض هذه الدراسة استراتيجيات الإدارة المتكاملة للموارد المائية، وأساليب تحقيقها، من خلال أدوات إدارة الطلب وبناء القدرات، وتنبه إلى أهمية توافر المعلومات الخاصة بالموارد المائية لتسهيل عملية اتخاذ القرارات، وضرورة إعطاء المياه قيمتها بوضع تسعيرة تعكس كلفتها الحقيقية، وتناقش الدراسة الأبعاد الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والسياسية لندرة المياه، وتوضح مفهوم قيمتها الاقتصادية وملكيتها، وحقوق الانتفاع بها، ووجهة النظر الإسلامية حيالها،وتتعرض لخيارات المشاركة وآلياتها بين القطاعين العام والخاص في إدارة الموارد المائية، كما تستعرض الموارد المائية في العالم العربي، والعقبات التي تعوق تنميتها، وتناقش إمكانية تطبيق استراتيجيات الإدارة المتكاملة للمياه في الدول العربية، وتوضح حسنات اتباع بعض هذه الاستراتيجيات ومضار بعضها الآخر بالنسبة إلى هذه الدول.

Drought in the Middle East, Causes, Effects, and Challenges
The Middle East is currently in front of a continuing complex drought crisis. In addition to effects on natural resources, there were noticed in different aspects including society, and the economy, and even more on the political situation. The drought disaster in the Middle East is complicated and interdependent. It includes many factors such as weak water management, geopolitical tensions, and local weather variation. This study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the escalating drought crisis in the Middle East. It investigates the current situation and potential prospects by examining the causes, effects, and challenges associated with it. This study also highlights the possible strategies for mitigating and adapting to the current drought conditions in the Middle East. This includes water conservation and management, planning environment-friendly irrigation systems, the use of choice water sources, and adopting drought-tolerant crops. It is necessary to identify the causes of drought in the Middle East and to promote mitigation and adaptation techniques and methods to decrease the consequences of this challenge.

Like the other countries in the region, given its position in an arid and semi-arid climate, Algeria has suffered and will suffer from any scarcity of the indispensable resource for life on earth, which is why the authorities opted through different planes (three-year and five-year) various programs of investment in the water sector that have reached $ 22.5 billion until 2008 with the estimate to reach 35.71 billion $ in 2025.But yet to assess the effectiveness of these colossal sums and measure the return on investment, a value that is expressed in the form of Well-Being of the population and the impact of the resource on the socioeconomic development in terms of economic contribution. Unrealistic goals are set during the development of water saving and modernization program as a unilateral decision, while history shows us that it is utopian visions, however these approaches are implemented by the allocation of huge sums without much guarantee or at least evaluate the effectiveness of programs developed and their impact on the socio-economic sphere and/or societal. As these amounts will not be helpful as governance is not assured with an effective strategy to be more realistic and to achieve the targeted goals.

توليد الماء من الهواء
يهدف البحث إلى حل مشكلة مياه الشرب في الفنادق النائية من خلال تقييم انطباعات المسئولين بهذه الفنادق حول إمكانية استخدام تكنولوجيا توليد الماء من الهواء Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) كأحدث التقنيات الخضراء المستدامة والمستخدمة في التغلب على مشكلة نقص المياه العذبة في الآونة الأخيرة. اعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي في الاستعراض المرجعي لموضوع البحث؛ والمنهج التحليلي في الدراسة الميدانية والتحليل الإحصائي للبيانات الأولية؛ وأخيرا المنهج التفسيري في تفسير ومناقشة النتائج النهائية. اعتمد البحث أيضا على نموذج قبول التكنولوجيا \"Technology Acceptance Model - TAM\" في تقييم انطباعات المسئولين بالفنادق محل الدراسة حول هذه التقنية كأحد أهم النماذج المعترف بها دوليا في هذا الشأن. تم تطبيق الدراسة الميدانية باستخدام أسلوب الحصر الشامل لجميع فنادق الأربع والخمس نجوم بمدينة مرسى علم كإحدى المدن النائية التي تعاني مشكلة نقص المياه العذبة. اعتمد البحث على أسلوب من الاستقصاء في جمع البيانات الميدانية استناداً إلى نموذج TAM ومقياس ليكارت الخماسي. وجهت استمارات الاستقصاء إلى المسئولين بمختلف الأقسام الفندقية. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود انطباعات إيجابية واتجاهات سلوكية قوية نحو استخدام تكنولوجيا AWG. توصي الدراسة المنشآت الفندقية في مصر وخاصة النائية منها بضرورة استخدام هذه التقنية لحل مشكلة مياه الشرب بشكل جذري والتحول الفعلي للفنادق الخضراء.
