هدفت الباحثة في البحث الحالي إلى ما يأتي: 1. قياس التناقض لدى طالبات الجامعة. 2. التعرف على الفروق في التناقض وفق متغير (التخصص) علمي-إنساني. وتحقيقا لهذه لأهداف هذا البحث قامت الباحثة بإعداد مقياس التناقض الذي تألف من (19) فقرة، ومن ثم تطبيقه على عينة بلغت 200 طالبة، وبعد معالجة البيانات إحصائيا توصلت الباحثة إلى النتائج الآتية: 1. تتصف عينة البحث بالتناقض. 2. لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في التناقض بين (العلمي والإنساني). وفي ضوء نتائج هذا البحث خرجت الباحثة بعدد من التوصيات والمقترحات.
