Assuntas funeral will be held Monday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church, 24 Mulberry St. A calling hour will be held from 9AM to 10:30AM in the funeral home, Monday morning only. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church Building Fund, 24 Mulberry St., Worcester, MA 01604.
MacLean hired as VP of commercial lending at Lawrence Savings Bank
Allan P. MacLean of Chelmsford has been named vice president of commercial lending at Lawrence Savings Bank in North Andover. Lorraine Bogdzewic of Lowell, a representative for Avon, is among the top 1 percent of almost 500,000 such representatives nationwide. Bogdzewic became an Avon representative in 1965. She recruits, mentors and manages new representatives.
MELLON CIO LEAVING TO BE PARAMEDIC
[Allan P. Woods], a former Marine Corps captain and Vietnam veteran, is not one of the five highest-paid executives listed in Mellon's most recent proxy statement. Three other Mellon vice chairmen who were listed had 2004 salaries ranging from $470,000 to $525,000 and bonuses ranging from $1.1 million to $2 million.
