Few architects come with the pedigree of Chien Chung (Didi) Pei. Son of the fabled I.M. Pei, patron of Pei Partnership Architects LLP with his brother Li Chung (Sandy), Didi's work takes him to Shanghai, Brunei, Paris and the Middle East, all within the span of a few weeks. BEST HOTEL OVER 300 ROOMS
After 12 years in operation, the New World Hotel in Kou Inoli. Hong Kong, was recently renovated for the first time. Designed by K.N.W. Architects & Engineers, Ltd. (Quarry Bay, Hong Kong) with interiors by DiLeonardo International, Inc. (Warwick, Rhode Island) and its Hong Kong subsidiary DiLeonardo International Pacific Ltd., the hotel's new setting is a study in contemporary comfort.

New Mood For Miami
The Mandarin Oriental Miami spurned the area's traditional designs and built a hotel with Asian influences. RTKL and Hirsch Bedner Associates designed a hotel with a water theme and Asian and Latin furnishings and fixtures.
