METHODS OF GENERATING AUTOCAD 3D SECTIONS
2024
In this article, the authors present a methodology for teaching in AutoCAD 3D a complete vertical section and a stepped vertical section, from the Computer Aided Graphics Design course, from the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Engineering. In this course, students learn how to create a 3D object, and then create sections in the layout, to define and modify them according to European Standards. They thus end up presenting the 3 main views, with section, as well as the axonometric view and the sectioned axonometric view of the 3D object.

COMPARATIVE STUDY ON THE COMPUTER-AIDED DETERMINATION, USING THE AUTOCAD SOFTWARE, OF THE AREA AND PERIMETER OF A CONTOUR
by
Andrei SLONOVSCHI
,
Liviu PRUNA
,
Ioana-Roxana VIZITIU BACIU
in
AutoCAD, surfaces, area, perimeter, construction
2026
The paper presents a comparative study on how to determine computer-aided determination, using AutoCAD program, of the area and perimeter of a contour. In this paper, the authors propose a way of determining two parameters frequently used in construction practice and spatial planning through two different working procedures than those existing in the analysed program.

AutoCAD 2019 : beginning and intermediate
\"Covering all of the 2D concepts, [this book] uses both metric and imperial units to illustrate the myriad drawing and editing tools for this popular application. Use the companion files to set up drawing exercises and projects and see all of the book's figures in color. [It] includes over 100 'mini-workshops' that complete small projects from concept through actual plotting. Solving all of the workshops will simulate the creation of three projects (architectural and mechanical) from beginning to end, without overlooking any of the basic commands and functions in AutoCAD 2019\"--Back cover.

AutoCAD for dummies
From setting up your drawing environment to using text, dimensions, hatching, and more, this guide walks you through AutoCAD basics and provides you with an understanding of the latest CAD tools and techniques. You'll also benefit from the illustrations that mirror exactly what you'll see on your AutoCAD screen and highlight the importance of AutoCAD's Model view, which shows different line weights for printing in different colors.
THE AUTOMATIC PLOTTING OF THE ARCS OF CIRCLE IN THE CHAMFERED HEXAGONAL PRISM CASE REPRESENTATION
2024
The paper presents a set of equations that stands to the basis of a computer program and to the software themselves, that offers to the user the possibility to automatic draw the arcs used to approximate the representation of a chamfer hexagonal prism. Also, the authors present the way to use software that generates the arcs that approximate hyperbolas resulting on a chamfered hexagonal prism.
