In this article we have tried to answer the question what evokes the type of projection which manifests itself in an act of performance or perception. Tentative conclusions are based on the cases of two children suffering from C. P. The performance act is set intentionally and aims at attaining projective-free performance. If the \"thing\" intentionally aimed at belongs to \"the\" \"Lebenswelt\" which is also mine, cognitive processes seem to prevail, and cognitive and pathognomic factors are not divided. The final form is reached after pathognomic processes have consumed themselves. When the \"thing\" aimed at belongs to \"my\" \"Lebenswelt\", (\"my thing\" means unity of \"I and World\"), formal tendencies and emotional dynamics seem to become separated. The latter are diverted to \"my body\", 2. are active as projective mechanisms and produce distortions of performance. It appears that 1. even accidental moments induce interpretations of certain images; it is 2. the nonconventional which most maintains the freedom of the thing and 3. which induces free self-imagery.
Corporate sustainability
Invaluable guidance for complete integration of sustainability into reporting and performance management systems Global businesses are under close scrutiny from lawmakers, regulators, and their diverse stakeholders to focus on sustainability and accept responsibility for their multiple bottom line performance. Straightforward and comprehensive Business Sustainability and Accountability hits on all of the hottest topics around sustainability including multiple bottom line (EGSEE) performance and reporting, related financial and non-financial key performance indicators (KPIs), business social responsibility and environmental reporting.
The integrated reporting movement
An in-depth, enlightening look at the integrated reporting movement The Integrated Reporting Movement explores the meaning of the concept, explains the forces that provide momentum to the associated movement, and examines the motives of the actors involved. The book posits integrated reporting as a key mechanism by which companies can ensure their own long-term sustainability by contributing to a sustainable society. Although integrated reporting has seen substantial development due to the support of companies, investors, and the initiatives of a number of NGOs, widespread regulatory intervention has yet to materialize. Outside of South Africa, adoption remains voluntary, accomplished via social movement abetted, to varying degrees, by market forces. In considering integrated reporting’s current state of play, the authors provide guidance to ensure wider adoption of the practice and success of the movement, starting with how companies can improve their own reporting processes. But the support of investors, regulators, and NGOs is also important. All will benefit, as will society as a whole. Readers will learn how integrated reporting has evolved over the years, where frameworks and standards are today, and the practices that help ensure effective implementation—including, but not limited to an extensive discussion of information technology’s role in reporting and the importance of corporate reporting websites. The authors introduce the concepts of an annual board of directors’ “Statement of Significant Audiences and Materiality” and a “Sustainable Value Matrix” tool that translates the statement into management decisions. The book argues that the appropriate combination of market and regulatory forces to speed adoption will vary by country, concluding with four specific recommendations about what must be done to accelerate high quality adoption of integrated reporting around the world.

Exploring the Surrounding of a Gravettian Site. The Case Study Grub-Kranawetberg, Austria
In this report we summarize the findings of our fieldwalking survey conducted around the well-known Mid-Upper Palaeolithic (Gravettian) open-air site Grub-Kranawetberg I in Lower Austria, about 40 kilometres northeast of Vienna. In September 2021, we surveyed around 126,000 square metres using GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) to piece-plot each find. In total, we recovered 359 finds comprising lithic artefacts and faunal remains. In our analysis we show that the state of the fields did not drive how many finds per cadastral parcel were recovered during our survey and did not bias the find density per cadastral parcel. The majority of finds hint at a Gravettian dating and occur in two concentrations on top of the hill west of the known site Grub-Kranawetberg I. In diesem Bericht fassen wir die Ergebnisse unserer Oberflächenbegehung um die bekannte Freilandfundstelle Grub-Kranawetberg I (mittleres Jungpaläolithikum/Gravettien) in Niederösterreich, etwa 40 Kilometer nordöstlich von Wien, zusammen.
The craft of scientific writing
In October 1984, the weak writing in a scientific report made national news. The report, which outlined safety procedures during a nuclear attack, advised industrial workers \"to don heavy clothes and immerse themselves in a large body of water.\" The logic behind this advice was sound: Water is a good absorber of heat, neutrons, and gamma rays. Unfortunately, the way the advice was worded was unclear. Was everyone supposed to come up for air? Be completely submerged? The writing conveyed the wrong impression to the public. The report came across as saying \"go jump in a lake\" -- not the impression you want to give someone spending thousands of dollars to fund your research. Chances are that Dan Rather will not quote your documents on national television. Still, your writing is important. On a personal level, your writing is the way in which people learn about your work. When you communicate, you receive credit for your work. When you do not communicate, or are too slow to communicate, the credit often goes to someone else. On a larger level, your writing and the writing of other scientists influence public policy about science and engineering.
