SysML allows engineers to describe how a system interacts with its environment, and how its parts must interact to achieve the desired system behavior and performance. The SysML model provides a shared view of the system, enabling a design team to surface issues early and prevent problems that would otherwise delay development and degrade design quality. Since SysML is based on UML, it also facilitates integration between systems and software development. This book provides systems and software engineers, designers, and programmers with a comprehensive and practical guide for modeling systems with SysML. It includes a full description of the language along with a quick reference guide, and shows how the language can be applied to specify, analyze, and design systems. It contains examples to help readers understand how SysML can be used in practice. The book also includes guidance on how an organization or project can transition to model based systems engineering using SysML, with considerations for processes, methods, tools, and training.
Modernizando Aplicativos Legados Mainframe para a Arquitetura Cloud-Native: um Estudo de Caso
2024
The study emphasized applying techniques such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event Storming, and architectural patterns such as Saga Orchestration and Hexagonal Architecture to ensure an effective and secure transition. Additionally, it discussed the benefits of a cloud-native architecture, such as automatic scalability and better cost management, and outlined plans for developing reusable patterns for future legacy system migrations.

In vehicle, there are many ECU(Electronic Control Unit)s, and ECUs are connected to networks such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and so on. AUTOSAR COM(Communication) which is a software platform of AUTOSAR(AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture) in the international industry standards of automotive electronic software processes signals and signal groups for data communications between ECUs. Real-time and reliability are very important for data communications in the vehicle. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze functions of signals and signal groups used in COM, and represent that functions of signal group are more efficient than signals in real-time data synchronization and network resource usage between the sender and receiver.

QuickTime for .NET and COM developers
At the heart of Apple's hugely popular iLife software suite—iMovie, iPhoto, iDVD, GarageBand, and iTunes—is QuickTime, the powerful media engine that drives elegant applications for managing movies, images, and audio files. The enduring success of QuickTime is in no small part attributable to its component architecture. This key feature has allowed it to embrace emerging digital media technologies and standards one by one as they have appeared over the 12 or so years since its launch. None of the competing technologies even comes close, let alone on both Mac OS X and Windows.QuickTime for .NET and COM Developers is the first guide to QuickTime for developers using popular RAD tools such a Visual Basic .NET, C#, and Visual Basic 6. A general introduction to QuickTime is followed by a detailed explanation of the QuickTime architecture from a.NET and COM perspective, liberally accompanied by code snippets. A number of implementation examples illustrate key QuickTime features, ranging from a simple movie player to a sophisticated interactive application. Also covered is QuickTime scripting in both QuickTime Player (using Windows Scripting) and in Microsoft Office applications (using VBA). Brief guides to developing with QuickTime in Delphi and ATL/WTL are also included.Part of the official Quicktime Developer Series, publishing the finest books on QuickTime in cooperation with Apple.* The first book on QuickTime for .NET and COM application and scripting developers* Written by one of the architects of Apple's QuickTime ActiveX/COM control* Offers numerous sample applications and code examples

Palavras-chave: Gestão da Arquitetura Empresarial; Arquitetura Empresarial Adaptativa; Arquitetura de Microsserviços; SOA Enterprise architecture management in microservice governance Abstract: Microservice architecture is an architectural style to building distributed systems through a set of small standalone services. The proposal aims to address the role of enterprise architecture management through decentralized governance and to support microservice teams in the least intrusive and restrictive way possible. Keywords: Enterprise Architecture Management; Adaptive Enterprise Architecture; Microservice Architecture; SOA. 1.

Many software projects today are based on the integration of independently designed software components that are acquired on the market, rather than developed within the projects themselves. A component standard, or integration architecture, is a set of design rules meant to ensure that such components can be integrated in defined ways without undue effort. The rules of a component standard define, among other things, component interoperability and composition mechanisms. Understanding the properties of such mechanisms and interactions between them is important for the successful development and integration of software components, as well as for the evolution of component standards. The paper presents a rigorous analysis of two such mechanisms: component aggregation and dynamic interface negotiation, which were first introduced in Microsoft's Component Object Model (COM). We show that interface negotiation does not function properly within COM aggregation boundaries. In particular, interface negotiation generally cannot be used to determine the identity and set of interfaces of aggregated components. This complicates integration within aggregates. We provide a mediator-based example, and show that the problem is in the sharing of interfaces inherent in COM aggregation.
