Rob Clements said he and his Franklin teammates \"had total momentum\" at Hereford on Tuesday night. But then - with 59 seconds left and the score tied at 15 - a thunderstorm postponed the teams' Class 3A-2A South regional boys lacrosse semifinal until yesterday. Then, like lightning, visiting Franklin knocked out the defending 2A-1A state champion Bulls, who were competing in a new bracket this year. Mike Linker had four assists, and goalie Geordy Clements finished with 22 saves for the Indians, who were 3A-2A state runners-up last spring.

Innovation meets renovation
A love for computers led Christopher Anderson to a job at The Computer House in Elmwood, and when the owner decided to sell in February 2001, Christopher's father, Chris Anderson, decided to buy the business to supplement his son's education. During December, Christopher had his first taste of running the business all on his own because his father was busy at Glad Tidings- Assembly of God Church, 5555 Roose St., where he serves as pastor. Christopher did repairs, sold computers and kept the books. His age no longer concerns his customers. Rob Clements, vice president of the American Exchange Bank, watched closely the first time Christopher worked on a bank computer. Since then, Clements says, he's developed confidence in Christopher's work.
