Meta-Algorithmics
2013
The confluence of cloud computing, parallelism and advanced machine intelligence approaches has created a world in which the optimum knowledge system will usually be architected from the combination of two or more knowledge-generating systems. There is a need, then, to provide a reusable, broadly-applicable set of design patterns to empower the intelligent system architect to take advantage of this opportunity. This book explains how to design and build intelligent systems that are optimized for changing system requirements (adaptability), optimized for changing system input (robustness), and optimized for one or more other important system parameters (e.g., accuracy, efficiency, cost). It provides an overview of traditional parallel processing which is shown to consist primarily of task and component parallelism; before introducing meta-algorithmic parallelism which is based on combining two or more algorithms, classification engines or other systems. Key features: Explains the entire roadmap for the design, testing, development, refinement, deployment and statistics-driven optimization of building systems for intelligence Offers an accessible yet thorough overview of machine intelligence, in addition to having a strong image processing focus Contains design patterns for parallelism, especially meta-algorithmic parallelism – simply conveyed, reusable and proven effective that can be readily included in the toolbox of experts in analytics, system architecture, big data, security and many other science and engineering disciplines Connects algorithms and analytics to parallelism, thereby illustrating a new way of designing intelligent systems compatible with the tremendous changes in the computing world over the past decade Discusses application of the approaches to a wide number of fields; primarily, document understanding, image understanding, biometrics and security printing Companion website contains sample code and data sets

A SCADA system gathers information, such as where a leak on a pipeline has occurred, transfers the information back to a central site, alerting the home station that the leak has occurred, carrying out necessary analysis and control, such as determining if the leak is critical, and displaying the information in a logical and organized fashion.
Application of Computer Control System in Electrical Automation
2021
With the improvement of information technology, China has continuously promoted the development of computer control system of electrical engineering and electrical automation in the current development process. In enterprise production, computer technology can be integrated into electrical engineering and electrical automation to realize real-time monitoring of controlled objects. Electrical engineering automation belongs to the field of modern electrical information, which is widely used in military, aerospace and industry. However, due to the late formation of China’s industrial system, there are still some problems in electrical engineering automation, resulting in serious energy consumption problems. In order to improve the application level of electrical automation control system and create greater benefits for enterprises and society, it is necessary to strengthen the application research of electrical engineering and automation computer control system. Based on the application status of computer control system in electrical automation, this paper discusses the application strategy of computer control system in electrical engineering and electrical automation to promote the further development of electrical engineering technology in China.

In cyber-physical systems governed by nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs), real-time control is often limited by sparse sensor data and high-dimensional system dynamics. Deep reinforcement learning (DRL) has shown promise for controlling such systems, but training DRL agents directly on full-order simulations is computationally intensive. This paper presents a sensor-driven, non-intrusive reduced-order modeling (NIROM) framework called FAE-CAE-LSTM, which combines convolutional and fully connected autoencoders with a long short-term memory (LSTM) network. The model compresses high-dimensional states into a latent space and captures their temporal evolution. A DRL agent is trained entirely in this reduced space, interacting with the surrogate built from sensor-like spatiotemporal measurements, such as pressure and velocity fields. A CNN-MLP reward estimator provides data-driven feedback without requiring access to governing equations. The method is tested on benchmark systems including Burgers’ equation, the Kuramoto–Sivashinsky equation, and flow past a circular cylinder; accuracy is further validated on flow past a square cylinder. Experimental results show that the proposed approach achieves accurate reconstruction, robust control, and significant computational speedup over traditional simulation-based training. These findings confirm the effectiveness of the FAE-CAE-LSTM surrogate in enabling real-time, sensor-informed, scalable DRL-based control of nonlinear dynamical systems.

Continuous improvement
2020
With the continuous improvement of China's power system requirements, a good and stable power supply is particularly important. Among them, the operation of power cable equipment is closely related to the quality of power system. Therefore, continuous improvement and reform of power cable equipment fault analysis and electric field detection technology can improve the quality and timeliness of power system. Based on the analysis of power cable fault and electric field detection technology by computer control system, this paper summarizes the related fault problems and electric field detection technology, so as to improve the quality of China's power system.

Unmanned autonomous transport vessels (MASS) are the future of maritime transport. The most important task in the design and construction of unmanned ships is to develop algorithms and a computer program for autonomous control. In order for such a computer program to properly control the ship (realizing various functions), the ship must be equipped with a computer system as well as measurement sensors and navigation devices, from which the recorded parameters are processed and used for autonomous control of the ship. Within the framework of conducted research on autonomous ships, an experimental model of an unmanned ship was built. This model was equipped with a propulsion system not commonly used on transport vessels (two azimuth stern thrusters and two bow tunnel thrusters), but providing excellent propulsion and steering characteristics. A complete computer system with the necessary measuring sensors and navigation devices has also been installed in the model of the ship, which enables it to perform all functions during autonomous control. The objective of the current research was to design and build a prototype computer system with the necessary measurement sensors and navigation devices with which to autonomously control the unmanned ship model. The designed computer system is expected to be optimal for planned tasks during control software tests. Tests carried out on open waters confirmed the correctness of the operation of the computer system and the entire measurement and navigation equipment of the built model of the unmanned transport vessel.
