Research and Application of Micro Frontends
The content management system is an indispensable part of enterprise information construction. With the rise of the concept of front and rear separation and the maturity of related technologies, it is a better choice to create a multi-functional front-end web application in complex large-sized or medium-sized projects, which sits on top of a microservices-based architecture. As the business grows, the single front end becomes more and more bloated, resulting in a single page application that is not well scaled and deployed, and difficult to maintain. Based on the analysis of above problems, combined with the corresponding front-end technology, this paper applies the microservice concept to the development of front-end and proposes a design scheme of content management system based on micro frontends. Besides, the key issues in practice process, such as micro frontends design concept and implementation methods are described in detail.

A collaborative machine tool maintenance planning system based on content management technologies
From product maintenance and service point of view, high-value sophisticated computer numerical control (CNC) machine tools in modern manufacturing factories play important roles: they are manufacturing equipment, and on the other hand, they are also products supplied by equipment manufacturers. There is a trend that manufacturers are extending their responsibilities to the products use phase to meet customers’ requirements for lifetime support and service. To ensure the effective performance and efficient maintenance of high-value machine tools, information and knowledge from their lifecycle should be collected and reused. However, in the research area of product service systems and related computerised maintenance systems, there is a lack of research work on how to integrate knowledge from different stakeholders into the maintenance and service planning process, which is important for modern digital manufacturing systems to reduce machine tools’ downtime and improve their working performance. This project proposed a collaborative maintenance planning framework to connect different stakeholders and integrate their knowledge into the maintenance and service process. The potential of advanced content management systems (CMSs), which are widely used non-engineering sectors such as finance, business, publishing and government organisations, has been explored and tested for applications in the manufacturing engineering domain. The research realised that CMSs have several advantages compared with traditional engineering information systems, especially in managing dynamic and unstructured knowledge. A prototype maintenance and service planning system has been developed and evaluated using a real CNC machine tool.
5DMETEORA FRAMEWORK: MANAGEMENT AND WEB PUBLISHING OF CULTURAL HERITAGE DATA
Cultural Heritage (CH) management software represents virtual information in various ways aiming either at usability and long-term preservation or interactivity and immersiveness. A single web-based framework that couples the organization of geospatial, multimedia and relational data with 4D visualization, Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) is presented in this paper (https://meteora.topo.auth.gr/5dmeteora.php). It comprises the 5dMeteora platform and the Content Management System (CMS) for uploading, processing, publishing and updating its content. The 5dMeteora platform integrates a responsive 3D viewer of high-resolution models in the basis of 3DHOP (3D Heritage Online Platform) and Nexus.js multi-resolution library. It offers data retrieval and interpretation mechanisms through navigation tools, clickable geometries in the 3D scene, named hotspots, and semantic organization of metadata. Its content and interactive services are differentiated, based on the scientific specialty or the field of interest of the users. To achieve the sense of spatial presence, VR and AR viewports are designed to give a clearer understanding of spatial bounds and context of 3D CH assets. The proposed CMS allows dynamic content management, automation of 3DHOP’s operations regarding 3D data uploading and hotspots defining, real-time preview of the 3D scene as well as extensibility at all levels (e.g., new data types). It is built upon a MySQL Database Management System and developed with PHP scripting, backend JavaScript and Ajax controllers as well as front-end web languages. The database maintains and manages the entities of every type of data supported by the platform, while encryption methods guarantee data confidentiality and integrity. The presented work is the first valid attempt of open-source software that automates the dissemination of 3D and 2D content for customized eXtented Reality (XR) experiences and reaches multiple levels of interactivity for different users (experts, non-experts). It can meet the needs of domain experts that own or manage multimodal heritage data.
A Comparative Study of Web Content Management Systems
Web Content Management Systems (WCMS) play an increasingly important role in the Internet’s evolution. They are software platforms that facilitate the implementation of a web site or an e-commerce and are gaining popularity due to its flexibility and ease of use. In this work, we explain from a tutorial perspective how to manage WCMS and what can be achieved by using them. With this aim, we select the most popular open-source WCMS; namely, Joomla!, WordPress, and Drupal. Then, we implement three websites that are equal in terms of requirements, visual aspect, and functionality, one for each WCMS. Through a qualitative comparative analysis, we show the advantages and drawbacks of each solution, and the complexity associated. On the other hand, security concerns can arise if WCMS are not appropriately used. Due to the key position that they occupy in today’s Internet, we perform a basic security analysis of the three implement websites in the second part of this work. Specifically, we explain vulnerabilities, security enhancements, which errors should not be done, and which WCMS is initially safer.

Website library information system design using fast method
This research was conducted at the Department of Industrial Engineering as part of the department at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University which has applied information technology to support every academic activity, information media, and services. Likewise the library which is part of the academic facilities in industrial engineering matters. However, in the current condition the library does not have an information system as a form of service improvement and information technology utilization. In service activities and the availability of information in the library it was found that industrial engineering students have not provided information system support, specifically regarding search reference books, and research. A general search for references for this book is handled by the industrial engineering library. Based on this problem, therefore an information system based website will be designed using a CMS (Content Management System) because it can meet the management system, management information system, and present information to users. The information system in this study was designed using the FAST (Framework for Application of System Technique) method in which there is an analysis using PIECES (Performance, Information, Economic, Control, Efficiency and Service) therein. This method provides a model for analyzing and defining user needs, choosing solutions and making an organized system for designing information systems.
