[Phil Latz], 48, is the founder and publisher of Australia's leading consumer magazines, Bicycling Australia and Mountain Biking Australia. He's also a leading voice on advocacy in Australia and, in part, that's reflected in his guidebooks. In the Chicago book he includes two pages in support of the Active Transportation Alliance, a Chicago-wide coalition of cyclists and pedestrians. He also supports World Bicycle Relief, founded by SRAM's F. K. Day.
