Game Notes - Cody Smith and Jordan Smith scored second-period goals to break open a one-goal game and put the result out of reach as the Tigers completed a weekend hat trick with the win over Villanova Knights in the first meeting of the season between the teams. Nick Vangog and Kyle McLaughlin staked Aurora to a 2-1 first-period lead before the Smiths connected to make it 4-1 for Aurora. The Knights climbed to within one goal before the end of the second period but Dom Monardo iced the outcome in the third period ... At Bowmanville, third-period goals by Monardo, Vangog and Brandon Happeney broke a 2-2 tie and sent the Tigers to victory in a Governor's Showcase contest.
