To study the extent of green finance development in China, this article constructs a green finance index system and employs the entropy value method to measure China’s green finance by using a yearly provincial panel data from 2001 to 2020. The Thiel and Moran indices are then used to systematically analyze the temporal and spatial distribution of China’s regional green finance. The findings are summarized as follows. Firstly, the overall green finance index in China experiences an upward trend. The development of green finance in the eastern region is superior to that in other regions in terms of absolute value and growth rate. Moreover, the differences in China’s green finance index have shown an increasing trend over the last two decades, which is mostly contributed by the intra-regional differences. Finally, the inter-regional distribution of green finance index demonstrates that green finance development has a spatial spillover effect.

Research on Talent Cultivation Paths for High Quality Employment in the Perspective of Industry-Education Integration
2025
With the rapid development of higher education, most schools have not made timely and effective adjustments to the training of students, resulting in the asymmetry between the training of schools and the needs of employers in recent years, and the graduates are facing the situation of difficult employment. The article builds a QFD model of high-quality employment training, and after investigating and analyzing the current situation of students’ employability, the weights of the elements of market demand for talents are calculated by using the hierarchical analysis method and entropy value method. The DEMATEL method was used to calculate the correlation between the employment market demand and the elements of talent quality characteristics, to derive the importance of each index in each module, and to establish a quality house for talent cultivation, realizing the functional conversion from the demand of students’ ability to the employment ability. Finally, countermeasure suggestions for cultivating and enhancing students’ employability are put forward in a targeted manner. After solving and analyzing the weights of stakeholders’ final demands, it is found that entrepreneurial practice skills account for the highest proportion of 0.296 in the AHP weights, from which it can be concluded that cultivating students’ entrepreneurial practice skills is conducive to the improvement of the quality of employment talents.

Assessment of Urban Ecological Quality and Spatial Heterogeneity Based on Remote Sensing: A Case Study of the Rapid Urbanization of Wuhan City
2021
Rapid urbanization significantly affects the productivity of the terrestrial ecosystem and the foundation of regional ecosystem services, thereby detrimentally influencing the ecological environment and urban ecological security. The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) also require accurate and timely assessments of where people live in order to develop, implement and monitor sustainable development policies. Sustainable development also emphasizes the process of protecting the ecological environment for future generations while maintaining the current needs of mankind. We propose a comprehensive evaluation method for urban ecological quality (UEQ) using Landsat TM/ETM+/OLI/TIRS images to extract remote sensing information representing four ecological elements, namely humidity, greenness, heat and dryness. An improved comprehensive remote sensing ecological index (IRSEI) evaluation model is constructed by combining the entropy weight method and principal component analysis. This modeling is applied to the city of Wuhan, China, from 1995 to 2020. Spatial autocorrelation analysis was conducted on the geographic clusters of the IRSEI. The results show that (1) from 1995 to 2015, the mean IRSEI of Wuhan city decreased from 0.60 to 0.47, indicating that environmental deterioration overwhelmed improvements; (2) the global Moran’s I for IRSEI ranged from 0.535 to 0.592 from 1995 to 2020, indicating significant heterogeneity in its spatial distribution, highlighting that high and low clusters gradually developed at the edge of the city and at the city center, respectively; (3) the high clusters are mainly distributed in the Huangpi and Jiangxia districts, and the low clusters at the city center, which exhibits a dense population and intense human activity. This paper uses remote sensing index methods to evaluate UEQ as a scientific theoretical basis for the improvement of UEQ, the control of UEQ and the formulation of urban sustainable development strategies in the future. Our results show that the UEQ method is a low-cost, feasible and simple technique that can be used for territorial spatial control and spatiotemporal urban sustainable development.

Study on Improving the Mechanism for Assessing and Realizing the Value of Forest Ecological Products in Fujian Province
2024
The key to grasping and practicing the important concept of “green mountains are golden mountains” is to internalize the construction of ecological civilization into the operation mechanism of the market economy and to stimulate the endogenous motivation of the whole society to engage in the construction of ecological civilization. The study focuses on the value of forest ecological products in Fujian Province and evaluates these products from four perspectives: support services, regulating services, supply services, and cultural services. Subsequently, we constructed the suitability evaluation index system for the realization mode of forest ecological product value in Fujian Province. We weighted the indexes by combining the entropy value method and the expert scoring method, and evaluated the suitability of the realization mode using the structural equation model. The suitability assessment results show that Zhouning County, Ningde City - ecological compensation > Shunchang County, Nanping City - ecological tenure trading > Changting County, Longyan City - ecological restoration > Jiangle County, Sanming City - ecological industrialization model. The regression estimates of ecological product production potential factor (β=0.221, p<0.001), ecological environment constraints (β=0.145, p<0.05), social environment constraints (β=0.178, p<0.001), and regression estimation of the realization of the value of the ecological products of forests in Fujian Province are significant. The mechanism for integrating synergy and coordination, localization, and differentiation for the realization of sustainable forest ecological product value has been improved.

The effects of industrial pollution on ecosystem service value: a case study in a heavy industrial area, China
2022
Industrialization has brought serious pollution problems to the eco-environment and severely weakened the ecosystem services in industry-concentrated areas. There are few studies choosing a heavy industrial city to evaluate the impacts of industrial pollution on ecosystem services and examine the relationships between industrial pollution and ecosystem services. This paper selected Taiyuan, an important energy resources and heavy chemical industry base in China, as a case study to quantitatively analyze the relationships between industrial pollution and ecosystem service value (ESV). The results showed that the pollution level of industrial solid waste decreased first and then increased, the pollution level of industrial wastewater presented a downward-upward-downward trend, whereas the pollution level of industrial waste gas continued to decrease during the study period. The total ESV increased from 8.56 billion Yuan in 2005 to 10.49 billion Yuan in 2017. Climate regulation and hydrology adjustment contributed the most value to the total ESV (more than 60%). The ESV of water supply was negative and decreased the most value (−177.52 million yuan). The fitting regression indicated that the ESV and the pollution levels of industrial wastewater, industrial waste gas and industrial solid waste exhibited significant negative correlations, which could be expressed as quadratic functions. These findings could provide valuable references for the coordination between industrial development and ecological conservation.

Exploration of high-quality development path of tourism and culture industry in the context of smart tourism
2024
The emergence of intelligent tourism as a new trend in the travel industry has raised the bar for the excellent growth of the travel and cultural sectors. The merger of the artistic and tourist industries significantly advances tourism’s modernization and evolution. Finding a high-quality growth path for the tourist and culture industries within the context of intelligent tourism is a significant problem that must be overcome in order to achieve the two sectors’ in-depth integration and synergistic growth. A scientific assessment system and model analysis is necessary to uncover practical ways to support industry integration and upgrading based on the current industrial development status quo. A strong connection between this province’s cultural and tourism sectors is indicated by the coupling degrees generally higher than 0.85. Although the degree of coupling coordination has improved annually, many cities are still unable to achieve a higher level of coordination, according to an analysis. This study utilizes the degree of coupling coordination model as a basis for creating a coupling index for the culture and tourist industries and examining the growth situation of an area from 2015 to 2022. In a particular province, the median annual growth rates for the tourism and cultural sectors between 2015 and 2022 are 19.18% and 32.11%, respectively. This suggests that there is still more room for growth and integration between the two sectors in the context of intelligent tourism. The tourism industry is developing more slowly than the cultural industry. The research suggests ways to aid the integration and superior growth of the tourist and cultural sectors, including boosting infrastructure construction and enhancing employee knowledge.
