The paper deals with twelve species of Lycidae, Elateridae (Omalisinae), Prostomidae and Pyrochroidae from Romania. Photographs of male genitalia and abdominal segments of four specimens of Pyrochroa bifoveata Molfini, Mancini & Bologna, 2022 from Constanța, Brașov, Satu Mare counties and Bucharest are given. Distribution maps based on the examined material are presented for the twelve species.

The earwig (Dermaptera) fauna of Singapore, previously almost entirely undocumented, is analyzed through examination of approximately 500 specimens. A critical reassessment of the limited published records is also provided. In total, 29 species identified to the species level are reported, including one Diplatyidae, two Pygidicranidae, one Apachyidae, seven Anisolabididae, two Labiduridae, nine Spongiphoridae, four Chelisochidae, and three Forficulidae. Of these, 17 species are newly recorded for Singapore: Echinosoma roseiventre Kamimura & Nishikawa, 2016, Parapsalis infernalis (Burr, 1913), Epilandex peterseni Ramamurthi, 1967, Platylabia major Dohrn, 1867, Gonolabis minor Borelli, 1926, Metisolabis punctata (Dubrony, 1879), Nala lividipes (Dufour, 1829), Spirolabia pilicornis (Motschulsky, 1863), Paralabellula curvicauda (Motschulsky, 1863), Paraspania emarginata (Srivastava, 1978), Chaetospania javana Borelli, 1926, Spongovostox semiflavus (Bormans, 1894), Marava arachidis (Yersin, 1860), Proreus simulans (Stål, 1860), Hamaxas feae (Bormans, 1894), Hypurgus humeralis (Kirby, 1891), and Timomenus bicuspis (Stål, 1860). Additional morphological notes are provided for selected taxa. A new synonymy is proposed, synonymizing Gonolabis emarginata Srivastava, 1990 with G. sumatrana de Bormans, 1900, resulting in Nannopygia ridleyi (Kirby, 1903), comb. nov . as the only dermapteran species currently considered endemic to Singapore. Additionally, Spiralizoros caudelli (Karny, 1927) is reported as the first national record of Zoraptera (angel insects). These findings are discussed in the context of Singapore’s urbanization and the biogeographic affinities of its insect fauna with those of neighboring regions.

We herein report the first record of two bush-cricket species, Poecilimon affinis and Isophya modesta , from Vrancea Mountains in the Eastern Carpathians, documented during our regular fieldwork conducted in the period 2013-2014. For P. affinis , Vrancea Mountains represent the new easternmost location in its Carpathian distribution range, extending approximately 60 km northeast from the previously known eastern limit, in Ciucaș Mountains. The discovery of I. modesta in montane habitats near Soveja is particularly significant, as this area is geographically isolated from other known populations and may represent an important biogeographical link between the Transylvanian and the Wallachian and Dobrogean populations.

Historical collections continue to support faunistic research: the first record of Saptha divitiosa (Lepidoptera, Choreutidae) from the Nicobar Islands, India

Based on a specimen collected in the mid-19 th century, the first documented record of Saptha divitiosa from the Nicobar Islands is given. This record extends and reshapes the known western limit of this species' distribution range. Image of the specimen, as well as brief considerations on the known distribution of this species are provided. The specimen also holds a certain historical value, being collected during the first \"Galathea\" expedition (1845-1847).

New records are provided of the family Agromyzidae (leaf-miner flies) from Morocco. Thirty agromyzid species are newly recorded, seven of these in Agromyzinae: Agromyza ( Agromyza anthracina , A. conjuncta , A. mobilis , A. myosotidis , A. nigrescens ), Hexomyza ( H. simples ), and Ophiomyia ( O. pinguis ). The other 23 new records are in Phytomyzinae: Amauromyza (Cephalomyza) karli, Calycomyza flavomaculata , C. solidaginis , Cerodontha (Butomomyza) eucaricis, C. (Dizygomyza) luctuosa, C. (Icteromyza) geniculata, Chromatomyia centaurii , Liriomyza amoena , L. brassicae , L. strigata , Phytoliriomyza arctica , P. perpusilla , P. pteridii , Phytomyza anemones , Ph. clematidis , Ph. crassiseta , Ph. notata , Ph. plantaginis , Ph. rufipes , Ph. vitalbae , Pseudonapomyza confusa , Ps. palavae , and Ps. vota . The genus Calycomyza Hendel is newly reported from the country. The present study is based on recent entomological surveys and has increased the total number of agromyzid species in Morocco to 92. Information on the distribution and ecology of each species is provided.

Leodamas chevalieri , the only Leodamas species reported in the Arabian region, was originally described from Senegal, western Africa. In this work, the morphological and genetic (COI and ITS2) variation of several populations of Leodamas from different localities in Kuwait, Oman, and western Africa were analyzed. The type material of L. chevalieri is described, and molecular data provided for specimens collected close to the type locality. Based on the molecular analysis, at least twelve lineages were recognized in the studied area (eight in the Arabian region and four in the western Africa), with L. chevalieri being a species complex composed of at least eleven lineages. The species name Leodamas chevalieri is assigned to the lineage found close to the type locality, restricting the species distribution to the coastal areas of Senegal. One lineage from off Kuwait was described as a new species, Leodamas edgari sp. nov ., differing from L. chevalieri in fine chaetal characters. Another lineage was identified as Leodamas gracilis , originally described from Sri Lanka, representing a new record of this species for the Arabian region. Further investigation is needed to describe or to name the other lineages belonging to the L. chevalieri species complex. With the description of L. edgari sp. nov ., the genus comprises 31 species worldwide. However, the number of discovered genetic lineages in this study indicates a high proportion of undescribed species diversity in the genus.

A new species of the order Zoraptera, Zorotypuskomatsui Matsumura, Maruyama, Ntonifor & Beutel, sp. nov., is described from Cameroon. The female and male morphology of another species, Z.vinsoni, is re-described, and its new distribution in Madagascar is recorded. A particular focus is on the male postabdominal morphology. This is apparently a crucial body region in the very small order with an extreme variation of the genital apparatus but otherwise a very uniform morphology. The male of the newly described species shares rudimentary male genitalia and well-developed postabdominal projections with the distantly related Spermozorosimpolitus, apparently a result of parallel evolution. Whether males of Z.komatsui also perform external sperm transfer like S.impolitus remains to be shown.
