Executive Director Of Battersea Foundation Moving On
Alexander \"Sandy\" C. Graham Jr., president of the foundation's Board of Directors, said Barbru announced her resignation at the board's Dec. 11 meeting. The board announced her departure this week. Graham said he and the board had known of the health issues facing Barbru's mother and her commute from Williamsburg. The board, he said, had worked closely with Barbru over the past year or more on giving her time to deal with family issues. \"It was somewhat unexpected though,\" Graham said of Barbru's resignation. \"We're sorry to see her go.\"
