The Evolution Course, Profound Connotation, and Advancing Path of Chinese Modernization
The Report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) decides to “comprehensively promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through Chinese modernization” as a central task, listing nine essential requirements for Chinese modernization with the creation of a new form of human civilization as its goal. This paper analyzes the evolution of Chinese modernization led by the CPC and the pursuit of civilization, and reveals the inner connection and unity between Chinese modernization and the new form of human civilization. It is helpful to deeply understand the historical logic, realistic logic, and future logic of Chinese modernization, enabling better study and implementation of the spirit of the Report to the 20th National Congress of the CPC. Also, this paper boosts confidence in the path, theory, system, culture, and history of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way and promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Long-term trajectories of human civilization
Purpose
This paper aims to formalize long-term trajectories of human civilization as a scientific and ethical field of study. The long-term trajectory of human civilization can be defined as the path that human civilization takes during the entire future time period in which human civilization could continue to exist.
Design/methodology/approach
This paper focuses on four types of trajectories: status quo trajectories, in which human civilization persists in a state broadly similar to its current state into the distant future; catastrophe trajectories, in which one or more events cause significant harm to human civilization; technological transformation trajectories, in which radical technological breakthroughs put human civilization on a fundamentally different course; and astronomical trajectories, in which human civilization expands beyond its home planet and into the accessible portions of the cosmos.
Findings
Status quo trajectories appear unlikely to persist into the distant future, especially in light of long-term astronomical processes. Several catastrophe, technological transformation and astronomical trajectories appear possible.
Originality/value
Some current actions may be able to affect the long-term trajectory. Whether these actions should be pursued depends on a mix of empirical and ethical factors. For some ethical frameworks, these actions may be especially important to pursue.

Along with the advancement of human civilization, conversations concerning human rights issues will not subside in time, because the parameters of a civilized nation is if a civilization has been able to put people in proportion, can \"humanize\" humans. Human rights are of the utmost importance, because human beings can be real human beings if their basic rights are fulfilled and guaranteed after fulfilling their obligations. The denial of human rights implies the denial of human existence which Allah says is used as khalifah fil al ardh. In order to support the universality of Islam and the position of Islam as rahmatan Iil Alamin, the Koran regulates all aspects of human life in all its deeds, both the deeds of the heart and the physical deeds, whether in relation to the faith, ethics, and practical both governing relationships between individuals and individuals, with society, individuals with the state, individuals with the environment, and individuals with their God. Seiring dengan kemajuan peradaban manusia, perbincangan yang menyangkut permasalahan hak asasi manusia tidak akan surut tertelan zaman, karena parameter suatu bangsa yang beradab adalah apabila suatu peradaban telah dapat mendudukkan manusia secara proporsional, bisa \"memanusiakan\" manusia. Hak asasi manusia menjadi sangat penting, karena manusia bisa menjadi manusia yang sebenamya apabila hak asasinya telah terpenuhi dan terjamin setelah menunaikan kewajibannya. Pengingkaran terhadap hak asasi manusia berarti pengingkaran terhadap eksistensi manusia yang kata Allah dijadikan sebagai khalifah fil al ardh. Two Integrations: Theoretical evolution and its contemporary significance to Xi Jinping Thought on Culture
Marxism is the fundamental guiding ideology upon which the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the country are founded and thrive. During the revolutionary period, the CPC successfully explored the path of integrating the basic tenets of Marxism with China’s specific realities (the “First Integration”), achieving the theoretical breakthrough of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context: Mao Zedong Thought. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the CPC led the people in embarking on the journey of socialist modernization. Since the reform and opening-up, the CPC has continued to advance this integration, constantly enriching and developing the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics in keeping with the times. Entering the New Era, General Secretary Xi Jinping creatively proposed the “Second Integration”—the integration of the basic tenets of Marxism with China’s fine traditional culture. Together with “the First Integration,” they constitute the “Two Integrations,” a significant theoretical innovation. These two are dialectically unified: the First Integration serves as the logical premise for the Second Integration, while the second completes this logic, elevating “integration” to a new height. As another form of mental emancipation, the Second Integration fosters confidence in China’s history, culture, and civilization. It defines the Chinese civilizational dimension of Xi Jinping Thought on Culture, transforming fine traditional Chinese culture into a valued, structural, and constructive force for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The Two Integrations, especially the Second Integration, represent an original contribution of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. It not only opens a new realm for adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of the times but also provides theoretical guidance for renewing the ancient Chinese civilization with a new mission and creating a new model for human advancement, demonstrating the Communist Party of China’s commitment to its civilizational responsibility for all humanity.
