LOFTUS, FRANK W
Frank W. Loftus, 75, of Wynwood Drive, Enfield, beloved husband of 49 years of Ruth (Taylor) Loftus, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday (February 10, 2004) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Frank was born and raised in the Broad Brook section of East Windsor. He was a resident of the Enfield community since 1957. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was retired from the Reliance Co. after many years and later was employed at the Connecticut Wood Group. Frank also volunteered at the Enfield Loaves and Fishes.
LOCAL OBITUARIES
A Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday in Holy Family Church, Enfield, followed by burial in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery, Enfield. Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels is handling arrangements. He is survived by two sons, Joseph J. Spalluto of Windsor and Jack P. Spalluto of Windsor Locks; a brother, Frank Spalluto; two sisters, Sadie Munson and Rosalie Spalluto; and three granddaughters. His wives, Lucrezia Chiarella Spalluto and Mary Rose Spinelli Spalluto, died previously. The funeral is scheduled for at 8:15 a.m. today at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., followed by a Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Windsor Locks. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Windsor Locks.

Explanation of petitions: Chapter 7 of the federal bankruptcy code requires the debtor surrender all non-exempted property to a trustee who reduces the property to cash for distribution to creditors. Chapter 11 of the code requires the debtor reorganize his business affairs and propose a plan to pay all or a portion of his debts. The creditors vote to accept or reject the plan. Chapter 13 requires the debtor pay as much as he can from future earnings to creditors pursuant to a plan. The debtor may retain any property exempt under state law or included in the repayment plan.
