During her visit, the Governor General held meetings with His Excellency [Stjepan Mesic], President of the Republic of Croatia and with Her Excellency Jadranka Kosor, Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia. At the University of Dubrovnik, the Governor General participated in a panel discussion on the theme of preserving culture and heritage in an open society. At an Art Matters forum held in collaboration with the Zagreb Film Festival, Her Excellency touched on the role of documentaries in our society. She also took part in a dialogue with prominent Croatian women to acknowledge the participation of women in civil life.
