Irmgard \"Irma\" (vonWesternhagen) Moran, age 98, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Heatherdowns Rehabilitation and Care Center. Irma was born in Bremen, Germany and moved to Toledo at age 13 with her family. The family would like to thank the staff of Heatherdowns Rehabilitation Center for caring for Irma and her special stuffed friend, \"Teddy\" and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their compassionate care given to Irma.

An avid knitting and sewing buff, Mrs. [Barbara Moran] enjoyed sitting on Nassau Point Beach, where the family had a cottage, watching her children play and knitting afghans and sweaters she often gave to friends and relatives. She also enjoyed tending to the expansive flower gardens at the cottage.
