PRICES OF MUSIC MONOGRAPHS AND SCORES AS REFLECTED IN \NOTES\, 2010–2015
2016
In the case of accompanied works, music is included for a single principal instrument featured with a keyboard instrument usually constrained to a subordinate role throughout the composition, for example, a sonata for flute with piano accompaniment, a concerto for violin with the orchestral accompaniment condensed and arranged for piano, or-similarly-a piano concerto with the orchestral accompaniment condensed and arranged for second piano. Charts for each category, other than \"Monograph Prices by Language,\" include the following data: the number of items in the category (Items); the total price of the items (Total); and the arithmetic mean of the total (Mean).1 Each table is accompanied by a line graph that plots trends in the mean price over the years 2010 through 2015.
