2019
In the newly published volume Heartland, Oda Jaune dedicates a retrospective of her work to the country of her birth, Bulgaria. The companion exhibition took place in the National Gallery in Sofia. This extensive catalogue features a selection of works by the Paris-based artist, which are characterized by complex visual worlds that fluctuate between beauty and disturbance. The publication also documents the monumental sculpture The Caress, which was temporarily placed in a variety of places throughout the country, opening up an intense dialogue between art and nature in public space. Along with works from the early phase of her career, the comprehensive monograph also features current paintings, sculptures, and watercolors, accompanied by essays. MICHAELA DANOVSKA (*1979, Sofia) was given her pseudonym, ODA JAUNE, by her husband, Jèorg Immendorf. The artist was a graduate student of Immendorf?s at the Kunsthochschule Dèusseldorf. Since his death in 2007, she has lived in Paris. Her pictures have been seen in more than forty solo and group shows.00Exhibition: National Gallery Sofia, Bulgaria (23.11.2018 - 13.01.2019).
Prayer for the Devil
2025
A common theme in the historiography related to Oda Nobunaga is his strong opposition to religious institutions. While Nobunaga’s conflicts with several temples were brutal, this article argues that the image of Nobunaga as broadly anti-Buddhist is a result of an overreliance on the writings of the Jesuit Luís Fróis. Indeed, an analysis centered on documents issued by Nobunaga and his regime reveal that religious institutions served important roles in Nobunaga’s regime, and that Nobunaga tended toward maintaining precedent in his relationship with religious institutions. This article provides a framework of the Oda regime’s religious policies and the main aspects of it.

2023
This paper aims to identify factors that influence the successful implementation of ODA rural development projects for developing countries. To this end, it has analysed the implementation process of a project, ‘The Integrated Rural Development Project in Kyrgyz Republic’, currently being carried out in Kyrgyzstan via Good Neighbors International (GNI) with support from KOICA (Korean International Cooperation Agency). The analysis method employed in this study is decision tree analysis. By means of a review of previous studies on the implementation of ODA projects, variables that are believed to have an impact on the successful implementation of ODA rural development projects were derived. The values of each variable for thirty villages in Kyrgyzstan were derived and used as independent variables, and decision tree analysis was performed using the overall execution performance score for each village as the dependent variable. As a result, it was found that co-operation between field managers active at the project site and village residents was the most important determining factor of success.

ODA : Office of Design and Architecture
This first book to comprehensively consider ODA's range in architecture, from apartment to building to neighbourhood. Projects underline a humanistic philosophy seeking community engagement, social connectivity, and above all to inform and uplift.
Analysis of total factor production and official development assistance relationship in developing countries
2024
The objective of this paper was to analyze the relationship between official development assistance (ODA) and total factor production (TFP) in developing countries to allow a better allocation of aid. We used a panel of 69 developing countries, 29 low-income and 40 middle-income countries, from 2005 to 2019. System GMM and fixed effects were used both with time, and country fixed effects to get rid of unobserved heterogeneity and possible aid endogeneity. For more precision, we disaggregated aid by sector to assess their effect on the main parts of TFP. The results found showed no significant impact of ODA on TFP. However, for low-income countries, aid in the sector of agriculture had a positive impact on human capital, employment, and real GDP. Aid in the sector of industry had a positive impact on human capital, the share of labor compensation, and the real GDP. For middle-income countries, Aid in the sector of education had a positive impact on employment and capital stock. Aid in the sector of economic infrastructure had a positive impact on human capital, employment, and capital stock. We recommend that donors direct most of the aid to low-income countries in the agropastoral sector and in the sector of industry and mining. In addition, we recommend that donors direct a significant part of their support to middle-income countries in the sectors of economic infrastructure and education. Furthermore, very good coordination between donors and institutions in receiving countries is a priority to adapt assistance to the policies of receiving countries.

The Asian Solidarity Movement in Korean Civil Society: Observations on Thirty Years of Development
2025
“Asian solidarity movement” has been a catchphrase for the international activities of Korean civil society for three decades. The activism of Korean civil society started to become tangible in the early 1990s, mainly because of Korea’s democratization and globalization. This article begins by describing the origin, growth, and diversification of this solidarity movement. It then emphasizes recent changes that can be observed in two key areas, namely, issues and participation. Unlike in earlier phases of the movement, when activists focused mainly on issues directly relevant to Korea, today’s activism is more concerned with universal values. It also attracts citizens beyond activists and intellectuals.

Composition, Structure and Morphology Evolution of Octadecylamine (ODA)–Reduced Graphene Oxide and Its Dispersion Stability under Different Reaction Conditions
2018
Octadecylamine (ODA) can solve the aggregation problem of graphene sheets in the chemical exfoliation method. However, no attempts have been made to investigate the evolution of ODA–reduced graphene oxide (ORGO) with reaction conditions and the modification mechanism, which is the core problem to realize the controllable production and practical application of graphene. In this study, we treated graphene oxide (GO) with ODA under different reaction conditions to prepare ORGO. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and UV–vis spectrophotometry were employed to analyze the composition, structure, morphology and characteristics of the as–prepared graphene sheets. The results showed that the reduction reaction could occur under mild conditions, but the edge grafting reaction could only be activated by a higher temperature. Moreover, the ORGO created at 80 °C for 5 h and 120 °C for 0.5 h exhibited the optimized properties, both excellent dispersing stability and high heat resisting property, since they had more edge grafting chains and a suitable reduction degree.

The present research investigated the chemical characterization and insecticidal activity of n-Hexane extracts of Epaltes divaricata (NH-EDx) along with their chief derivatives n-Hexadecanoic acid (n-HDa) and n-Octadecanoic acid (n-ODa) against the dengue vector Aedes aegypti and lepidopteran pest Spodoptera litura. Chemical screening of NH-EDx through GC–MS analysis delivered nine major derivatives, and the maximum peak area percentage was observed in n-Hexadecanoic acid (14.63%) followed by n-Octadecadienoic acid (6.73%). The larvicidal activity of NH-EDx (1000 ppm), n-HDa (5 ppm), and n-ODa (5 ppm) against the A. aegypti and S. litura larvae showed significant mortality rate in a dose-dependent way across all the instars. The larvicidal activity was profound in the A. aegypti as compared to the S. litura across all the larval instars. The sublethal dosages of NH-EDx (500 ppm), n-HDa (2.5 ppm), and n-ODa (2.5 ppm) also showed alterations in the larval/pupal durations and adult longevity in both the insect pests. The enzyme activity revealed that the α- and β-carboxylesterase levels were decreased significantly in both the insect pests, whereas the levels of GST and CYP450 uplifted in a dose-dependent manner of NH-EDx, n-HDa, and n-ODa. Correspondingly, midgut tissues such as the epithelial layer (EL), gut lumen (GL), peritrophic matrix (Pm), and brush border membrane (BBM) were significantly altered in their morphology across both A. aegypti and S. litura against the NH-EDx and their bioactive metabolites. NH-EDx and their bioactive metabolites n-HDa and n-ODa showed significant larvicidal, growth retardant, enzyme inhibition, and midgut toxicity effects against two crucial agriculturally and medically challenging insect pest of ecological importance.
