Christie's said her collection was the 'highlight' of the day's auction which totalled EUR 19million. Among the other items in her collection was a rare Faberge 'Buddha', an ornament from Aristotle Onassis' yacht, which fetched EUR 1.6million. Raymond Sancroft-Baker, of Christie's, confirmed: 'Naturally the highlight of the sale was the [Christina Onassis] collection that was 100 per cent sold.'
