LAWSUIT AGAINST PROPRIETOR OF NAPANEE WEEKLY SETTLED OUT OF COURT
1991
Mr. [Donald Bebee] said he and his wife agreed that Mr. [W. Eldon Kemp] could suspend the payment of their commissions when Mr. Kemp complained that it was costing him too much. However, Mr. Bebee said, Mr. Kemp agreed to allow the unpaid commissions to accumulate in favor of their equity in the business. Later, however, Mr. Kemp took over full control of the entire business and refused to consider paying anything to the couple for their share. Mr. Bebee told the court he and his wife reached an oral agreement with Mr. Kemp in which they would yield 50 per cent ownership in the paper in return for financial backing and management fees and commissions on ad sales. They also understood that Mr. Kemp would sell or give the paper back to them after the financial problems were overcome. Mr. Kemp repeatedly emphasised that his interest was in securing the Advertiser's printing contract for his Quinte-Web Press, and not in becoming the owner of a newspaper, Mr. Bebee testified.

Discourse analysis
2008
// ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: The review article systematizes the current academic debate on U.S. foreign policy after 9/11. The main focus lies on different explanations of the causes and consequences of the 'war on terror'. Such a problem-oriented approach mirrors the heterogeneity of the debate which cannot adequately be captured by the conventional categories of IR research and foreign policy analysis. It is fair to say that the analysis of U.S. foreign policy as a case of empirical investigation profits from this disciplinary emancipation.
