[Nathaniel Payne] is a cadet glider pilot and honours student, who has been recognized for his high academic standings by acceptance to the Royal Military College in Kingston, Ont. Payne will begin his engineering studies at RMC in September. Following university, Payne plans a career as a pilot in the Canadian Armed Forces.

[Joe Nethery], [Nathaniel Payne] and [Angela Francavilla] were among the 31 St. James students taking part in the mock parliament at Queen's Park recently. On top of being premier, Nethery was voted the top MPP at this year's forum. Payne was unanimous choice as the most-prepared delegate. Nethery used the budget victory as a launching pad for an election. When it received the one-vote victory, he presented a notice of dissolution and adjournment for the 2001 mock parliament.

I learned it's OK to not succeed the first time as long as I got up and tried again.\" \"We don't want the 16 who went to the camp to be just tight with each other,\" Moy said. \"We've got to bring in the other hundred in the unit and make them family, too.\"
