Suppose G is a real reductive algebraic group, θ is an automorphism of G, and ω is a quasicharacter of the group of real points G(R). Under some additional assumptions, the theory of twisted endoscopy associates to this triple real reductive groups H. The Local Langlands Correspondence partitions the admissible representations of H(R) and G(R) into L-packets. The author proves twisted character identities between L-packets of H(R) and G(R) comprised of essential discrete series or limits of discrete series.

Background: In Brazil, transgender people over the age of 60 face high vulnerability and discrimination. Objective: The study aimed to identify the social representations (SR) of old age among middle-aged and elderly Brazilian transsexual women. Method: This is a qualitative, exploratory and descriptive study made up of 20 transexual women aged 45 or over (M = 53.4; SD = 5.05). Due to the context of the pandemic, the research was carried out using an online questionnaire for participants from all over Brazil. Two instruments were used for data collection: I) a sociodemographic questionnaire and II) a semi-structured interview. Two pieces of software were used to analyze the data. Initially, the data from the sociodemographic questionnaire was analyzed using SPSS and then the semi-structured interviews were analyzed using IRaMuTeQ using the Descending Hierarchical Classification (DHC). Results: The results pointed mainly to issues of trans aging, the challenges faced by society, as well as the loneliness of trans women and their respective invisibility. Conclusion: From the research, it was possible to conclude that the SRs show that trans old age lacks visibility in society, and there is still a need to change stigmas in relation to ageing.

Representations of groups
2011
A ‘2-group’ is a category equipped with a multiplication satisfying laws like those of a group. Just as groups have representations
on vector spaces, 2-groups have representations on ‘2-vector spaces’, which are categories analogous to vector spaces. Unfortunately,
Lie 2-groups typically have few representations on the finite-dimensional 2-vector spaces introduced by Kapranov and Voevodsky. For this
reason, Crane, Sheppeard and Yetter introduced certain infinite-dimensional 2-vector spaces called ‘measurable categories’ (since they
are closely related to measurable fields of Hilbert spaces), and used these to study infinite-dimensional representations of certain Lie
2-groups. Here we continue this work. We begin with a detailed study of measurable categories. Then we give a geometrical description of
the measurable representations, intertwiners and 2-intertwiners for any skeletal measurable 2-group. We study tensor products and direct
sums for representations, and various concepts of subrepresentation. We describe direct sums of intertwiners, and
sub-intertwiners—features not seen in ordinary group representation theory. We study irreducible and indecomposable representations and
intertwiners. We also study ‘irretractable’ representations—another feature not seen in ordinary group representation theory. Finally,
we argue that measurable categories equipped with some extra structure deserve to be considered ‘separable 2-Hilbert spaces’, and
compare this idea to a tentative definition of 2-Hilbert spaces as representation categories of commutative von Neumann algebras.

We study the representation theory of the increasing monoid. Our results provide a fairly comprehensive picture of the representation
category: for example, we describe the Grothendieck group (including the effective cone), classify injective objects, establish
properties of injective and projective resolutions, construct a derived auto-duality, and so on. Our work is motivated by numerous
connections of this theory to other areas, such as representation stability, commutative algebra, simplicial theory, and shuffle
algebras.

Introduction: The teaching of judo in schools is integrated into the Physical Education content foreseen by the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), being understood as a bodily practice that can contribute to the students' development. In this context, the study addresses the social representations of Physical Education teachers about the teaching of judo in the school environment.
Objective: Understanding the social representations of Physical Education teachers about the teaching of Judo in schools can help to understand the boundaries that hinder its practice in schools and propose pedagogical directions. Thus, this study aimed to identify and analyze the evidence of social representations of Physical Education teachers about the teaching of judo in schools.
Methodology: 104 Brazilian Physical Education teachers working in Basic Education participated through the Free Word Association Test. The data were processed using the IRAMUTEQ software.
Results: The research results show \"discipline\" as the most prominent element in social representations and \"respect\" as the most frequent in its structure. It is concluded that social representations have limited the teaching of judo in schools to a solution for cases of indiscipline and disrespect.

2023
Social representations of gender (SR), namely, beliefs, values, attitudes, and symbolic content about gender affect people’s behavior and relations to others in social life. Gender representations help explain gender violence among the adolescent population. A qualitative study was conducted to explore the gender SR of teachers and students from two cities in Colombia: Bogotá and Ibagué. Multimethod data collection was performed using a word-association task with 37 teachers and a collaborative cartoon construction task with 284 students from both cities. Thematic analysis and triangulation were performed on this data. Knowledge and informational sources were explored in-depth among students and teachers. The analysis of gender representations revealed rather traditional views: binary representations of gender roles, gender relations, physical characteristics, and behavioral expectations for men and women. The study also found differences between the two educational contexts, scarce references to sexual diversity, and a nuance of tragedy in female gender roles and relations.

The objective was to study the relationship between students in the final years of Elementary School and the school. Understanding school as a social fact and social facts as objects of representation, the Theory of Social Representations guided the discussions. 173 students in the final years of Elementary School from a public school in Juiz de Fora - MG participated in the research. To collect data, a questionnaire composed of three questions was used: one free association, one scale type and one metaphor induction. The data were subjected to analysis: prototypical, using the EVOC software, similarity, using the SIMI software, and thematic content. The results point to a representation that does not change in its basic structure, throughout the sequence of school years, from the 7th to the 9th year, organized into two fields, one of socialization and the other of school activities. Socialization appears as a structuring element of representation until the last year studied, dominant in the 7th year and giving way to the second dimension, of school objects and practice. On the other hand, the results indicate an increase in tensions in the 8th year and a more critical and organized view of subjects and learning in the 9th year. Changes were also observed in the affective direction of the relationship with the school.

The Theory of Social Representations, proposed by Serge Moscovici in 1961, is a milestone in understanding social thought. This study analyzed 285 abstracts from Ibero-American psychology journals available in the SciELO database, processed with the IRAMuTeQ software. Five thematic classes were identified within two main axes: the first addresses methodological aspects, Class 1 (analysis techniques and software) and Class 2 (sample characteristics); the second concerns the development of studies on Social Representations, Class 3 (family-related themes), Class 4 (health themes), and Class 5 (contents of Moscovici’s Theory). It was found that IRAMuTeQ structured classes consistent with the abstracts and highlighted the predominance of Moscovici’s theoretical
