Design of English Teaching Resource Sharing and Remote Classroom Platform Based on Cloud Computing Technology
Aiming at the problem of low sharing efficiency of teaching resources and limited sharing scope of traditional teaching platforms, this paper first designs a digital English teaching resource sharing platform through cloud computing technology. After that, the cloud platform resource structure, educational application services and other modules are refined, and the authentication framework is constructed to realize the safe sharing of data. The results show that the remote classroom teaching method of English teaching resource sharing based on cloud computing demonstrates significant advantages. In addition, the platform not only plays a stable role in resource sharing efficiency, but also has high efficiency, which is highly practical and effective. The English teaching resource sharing and remote classroom platform proposed in this paper is applied to English classroom teaching in colleges and universities, which can stimulate students’ learning initiative, improve students’ learning efficiency, and comprehensively enhance students’ interest in learning English.

Knowledge Management Oriented Library Digital Resource Sharing Platform Construction and Optimisation Strategies

This paper combines the current direction of library digital resource sharing platform development, puts forward the library digital resource sharing platform for knowledge management, determines the overall design ideas and framework of the platform, and then adopts the hybrid recommendation algorithm to optimise the platform of this paper. Determine the data sources and evaluation indexes, conduct comprehensive simulation analysis and questionnaires, and jointly verify the knowledge management-oriented library digital resource sharing platform. It can be concluded from the validation that the difference between the coverage rate of the hybrid recommendation and the coverage rate of the traditional recommendation method is small, and its value is 0.1015. The hybrid recommendation algorithm effectively improves the coverage rate of resource sharing on this platform, and when the number of users online at the same time is 200, the processing time of the server is 98.91ms, which makes the platform fully capable of running smoothly. The difference between the five dimensions of this paper’s platform and the traditional platform ranges from 2 to 158 at the time of satisfaction (A), which comprehensively demonstrates the superiority of this paper’s platform. In order to better promote the construction of a knowledge management-oriented library digital resource sharing platform, two optimisation strategies are proposed.

Recent developments in telecommunication world have allowed customers to share the storage and processing capabilities of their devices by providing services through fast and reliable connections. This evolution, however, requires building an incentive system to encourage information exchange in future telecommunication networks. In this study, we propose a mechanism to share bandwidth and processing resources among subscribers using smart contracts and a blockchain-based incentive mechanism, which is used to encourage subscribers to share their resources. We demonstrate the applicability of the proposed method through two use cases: (i) exchanging multimedia data and (ii) CPU sharing. We propose a universal user-to-user and user-to-operator payment system, named TelCash, which provides a solution for current roaming problems and establishes trust in X2X communications. TelCash has a great potential in solving the charges of roaming and reputation management (reliance) problems in telecommunications sector. We also show, by using a simulation study, that encouraging D2D communication leads to a significant increase in content quality, and there is a threshold after which downloading from base station is dramatically cut down and can be kept as low as 10%.

The emergence of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies opened the possibility for building novel peer-to-peer (P2P) resource allocation and sharing models. However, the trustless nature of these P2P models creates the need for reliable and effective trust and reputation mechanisms to minimize the risk of accessing or interacting with malicious peers. Blockchain technology, which is renowned for ensuring trust in trustless environments, provides us with new mechanisms to overcome the weaknesses of the existing reputation and trust management protocols. This paper proposes BTrust, an innovative decentralized and modular trust management system based on blockchain technology for evaluating trust in large-scale P2P networks. To quantify and assess the trustworthiness of peers and identify malicious peers, BTrust introduces a multi-dimensional trust and reputation model to represent trust and reputation scores in a single value derived from multiple parameters with appropriate weightings. Other contributions of this paper include the combination of recommendation and evidence-based approaches into a single system to provide a reliable and versatile way to compute trust in the network, an optimized trustless bootstrapping process to select trustworthy peers among neighbour peers and an incentive mechanism to encourage truthful feedback. We implement and evaluate the BTrust protocol using simulations and show that BTrust is highly resilient to failures and robust against malicious nodes.

Increasing computing demands and concerns about energy efficiency in high-performance and high-throughput computing are driving forces in the search for more efficient ways to use available resources. Sharing resources of an underutilised cluster with a high workload cluster increases the efficiency of the underutilised cluster. The software COBalD/TARDIS can dynamically and transparently integrate and disintegrate such resources. However, sharing resources also requires accounting. AUDITOR (Accounting Data Handling Toolbox for Opportunistic Resources) is a modular accounting ecosystem that is able to cover a wide range of use cases and infrastructures. Accounting data are gathered via so-called collectors, which are designed to monitor batch systems, COBalD/TARDIS, cloud schedulers, or other sources of information. The data is stored in a database, and access to the data is handled by the core component of AUDITOR, which provides a REST API along both Rust and a Python client libraries. So-called plugins can take actions based on accounting records. Depending on the use case, one simply selects a suitable collector and plugin from a growing ecosystem of collectors and plugins. To facilitate the development of collectors and plugins for yet uncovered use cases by the community, libraries for interacting with AUDITOR are provided.

The era of 5G networks is approaching fast and its commercialization is planned for 2020. However, there are still numerous aspects that need to be solved and standardized before an average end-user can benefit from them on a daily basis. The 5G technology is supposed to be faster, provide services of higher quality, and better address the evolving needs of customers. As a consequence, 5th generation network needs to be implemented with efficiency and flexibility in mind, and thus, it fits well with the concepts of virtualization which enable sharing of physical resources among different operators, services, and applications. In this paper, we present an overview of these concepts, resulting from our discussions, i.e. between academic researchers and active network architects, and we describe the operation of a model that is most likely to emerge in such a complex network environment.

MACRS: An Enhanced Directory-Based Resource Sharing Framework for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

Recent technological developments have caused a rapid increase in the use of portable devices around the globe. However, these devices comprise limited processing resources that restrict their performance. To overcome this issue, the existing literature provides several frameworks that enable resource sharing through ad hoc clouds. However, these frameworks lack the ability to cater to the omni-directional movements of devices, which adversely affects the cloud stability, thereby, restricting the resource sharing process. To this end, this paper proposes a novel framework, namely Mobility-aware Ad hoc Cloud-based Resource Sharing (MACRS), which aims to enhance resource sharing among devices. To achieve this aim, MACRS proposes a new mobility-aware clustering algorithm that improves cloud stability. Moreover, the proposed framework prevents unfair resource exploitation and introduces an enhanced technique to handle emergency tasks. Furthermore, we employed event-triggered energy valuations’ synchronization, instead of periodic updates, which minimizes network congestion, hence staving off bandwidth wastage. Additionally, MACRS proposes to maintain the local directory at each node, instead of the cellular service provider, to reduce end-to-end delay during energy valuations’ verification and to minimize the overall execution time of tasks. The simulation results demonstrated that MACRS provides considerably improved cloud stability and resource sharing in comparison with eminent frameworks.

Each day millions of books, journals and ephemera are being published and to keep track of these books and literature and to provide them to the information seeking community is a herculean task for Academic Libraries. The difference between good or bad data can be explained as to how accurately the information is dispersed to the academic community. In these circumstances, it becomes significant for libraries to collectively come together and help each other by forming a resource sharing model. Across the globe numerous such models have been formed but most of them struggled to thrive on a long run. The present paper discusses the challenges faced by the resource sharing models and the possible solutions to overcome these problems for the smooth functioning of the consortia.
