\"When three men announce that they are suing the Rosato & DiNunzio law firm for reverse sex discrimination--claiming that they were not hired because they were men--Mary DiNunzio and Bennie Rosato are outraged. To make matters worse, their one male employee, John Foxman, intends to resign, claiming that there is some truth to this case. The plaintiffs' lawyer is Nick Machiavelli, who has already lost to Mary once and is now back with a vengeance--determined not to not only win, but destroy the firm. It soon becomes clear that Machiavelli will do anything in his power to achieve his end...even after the case turns deadly. The stakes have never been higher for Mary and her associates as they try to keep Machiavelli at bay, solve a murder, and save the law firm they love...or they could lose everything they've worked for\"-- Provided by publisher.
Deformation and Fracture of Metallic Nanowires
A many-body interatomic potential for metallic nanowires within the second-moment approximation of the tight-binding model (the Cleri-Rosato potential) was employed to carry out three dimensional molecular dynamics simulations. Molecular dynamics simulation results for metallic nanowires at various temperature are presented. The stress–time and stress length curves for nanowires are simulated. The breaking and yield stress of nanowires are dependent on the Volume and temperature. The necking, Plastic deformation, slipping domain, twins, clusters, microspores and break-up phenomena of nanowire are demonstrated. Stress decreases with increasing nanowire volume and temperature. The final breaking position occurs at the central part of the nanowire when it is short, as the nanowire length increases the breaking position gradually shifts to the ends.
Jennifer Rosato Perea Named Director of Accreditation and Legal Education for the American Bar Association
A longtime advocate of student engagement and professionalism, Rosato Perea is one of only a small number of Latina law school deans in the nation, and she would become the first Latina to serve as head of ABA legal education.

Granted, The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation gives away a lot of money. With some $5.3 billion in assets, the private foundation issues more than $250 million in grants annually to groups and individuals working to improve the human condition. Its two primary programs are Human and Community Development (affordable housing, education reform, mental health) and Global Security and Sustainability (world peace, population reduction, conservation, human rights). The foundation also funds special initiatives and awards $500,000 MacArthur Fellowships to a variety of individuals. Since making its first grant in 1978, The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation has distributed about $4 billion.

Influence of growth regulators and nitrogenous compounds on in vitro bulblet formation and growth in oriental lily
The influence of growth regulators and nitrogenous compounds on in vitro bulblet formation and growth was studied in two hybrids of Lilium. Bulbscales isolated from pre-cooled bulbs of hybrids Rosato and Marco Polo were used. The basal portion with plate (5 × 6 mm) of inner bulbscales was cultured on Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium containing 0.5 or 1 mg/dm3 naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) and/or benzyladenine (BA). The presence of NAA (0.5 mg per dm3) showed higher explant regeneration, producing about three bulblets per explant as compared to control. About four bulblets per explant were produced at both concentrations of BA. The bulblets with significantly higher fresh weight were obtained on medium containing NAA. Approximately a three-fold increase of bulblet fresh weight was observed with all the concentrations of TDZ in both cultivars. The bulblets cultured with nitrogenous compounds after attaining the size of 14−16 cm flowered during the second year of the growing period without any phenotypic variations.

AMCP Expresses Serious Concerns over Prescription Drug Coverage Changes in Proposed Rule on Essential Health Benefits
The EHB proposed rule, issued Nov. 20, 2012, represents a significant departure from a December 2011 \"EHB bulletin\" as it pertains to the issue of prescription drug coverage. Last year's bulletin from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) required plans to offer only one drug per category and class. The 2011 bulletin also described HHS' approach to balancing costs, comprehensiveness and accessibility of EHBs as recommended by the October 2011 IOM report. \"This rule would restrict the ability of health plans to design pharmacy benefits that are scientifically based and financially prudent for their member populations, as outlined in the IOM report,\" said AMCP Chief Executive Officer Edith A. Rosato, RPh, IOM. \"Just because a benchmark plan offers multiple drugs in a category does not automatically mean that these are the most effective and appropriate medicines. Yet, this rule could require all plans to offer multiple products for coverage even when it is not warranted.\"
