Während die Rechten jede Form von Political Correctness als einen Angriff auf die Meinungs- und Redefreiheit ansehen, wollen einige Linke in der woken Berufung auf Minderheitenrechte zumindest einen Doppelstandard erkennen: Herrschafts- und Unterdrückungs-geschichten, die im partikularen Interesse einer einzigen Minderheit erzählt würden, drohten die soziale Frage und damit einen spezifisch linken Universalismus nach Art der Allgemeinen Erklärung der Men-schenrechte aus dem Blick zu verlieren. Es gibt ernsthafte Unter-schiede zwischen dem US-amerikanischen Begriff von \"liberal\" und der Art und Weise, wie er im Rest der Welt verwendet wird. In den USA ist er absolut schwammig, und da wäre fast jede*r deutsche*r Politiker*in, mit Ausnahme der AfD, mit inbegriffen. Ich bin die letzte Person, die verneinen würde, dass Rassismus und Sexismus immer noch eine große Rolle spielen. Und ich würde immer versuchen, zum Beispiel was mein Programm als Direktorin im Einstein-Forum angeht, dass es divers ist. Wie hängen diese drei zusammen und welche Art von Fortschritt ist hier gemeint? Aber auch als moralische Kategorie stellt Fortschritt kein Gut an sich dar. Wachstum ist leider immer noch ein positiv besetzter Begriff, er klingt besser als \"Nachhaltigkeit\", aber ich denke, dass wir hier überhaupt ganz neue Begriffe brauchen. Hausladen: In Ihrem Buch nehmen Sie eine begriffliche Unterschei-dung zwischen physischer und intelligibler bzw. sprachlich verfass-ter Gewalt vor.

Populism, authoritarianism and constitutionalism
The paper deals with the relationship of different types of populism with authoritarianism and constitutionalism. In the first part, I try to define various approaches—Left and Right-Wing, “good” or “bad”—to populism, especially from the point of view of whether they aim at changing the liberal democratic constitutional system to an authoritarian one. The following part discusses the rhetoric of authoritarian populists, which makes this type of populism distinct from non-populist authoritarians. The paper also explores the question of whom to blame for the success of authoritarian populisms, and the final part investigates, whether the use of legal tools by an authoritarian populist to dismantle liberal constitutional democracies means that we can speak about a special populist constitutionalism. While the paper tries to find out the joint characteristics of authoritarian populism, it heavily relies on the Hungarian experiences as a kind of model approach in East-Central Europe and maybe even beyond.
