An IoT Based Gradient Descent Approach for Precision Crop Suggestion using MLP
Agriculture plays a prime role in providing food to a massive population. It has a predominant role in improving the economic development of our nation. In recent days due to the changes in weather pattern, the crop cultivation has become the greatest challenge. This directly or indirectly affects the productivity of the crops. Hence to overcome from this and to the improve productivity of the crops new technologies can be brought up for usage. The usage of these new technologies will convert traditional farming practices into precision farming. The new technology specified here includes the data analysis and Internet of Things (IoT). As it is revealed that it improves the productivity of the crops by maintaining the finest crop health. Although changes had been adopted in the recent agricultural practices the major issue yet not gets resolved. One such main issue yet to be resolved is cultivating precise crop at the precise time. This can be done with the help of deep learning algorithm such as Artificial Neural Network (ANN), which is found to be an effective one for predicting the precise crop. Hence the proposed system aims at helping the farmers by providing valuable insights to them. These insights can be driven with the help of parameters such as soil moisture level, humidity, temperature and pH collected from the sensors using IoT. In addition to these other parameters include soil type, land type, and the area sown. The crop prediction Graphical User Interface (GUI) system will take these valuable inputs and give suggestions using the crop suggestion user interface. The prediction is made using the Deep Neural Network (DNN) which predicts about the crop to be get cultivated, fertilizer to be used, production range etc. The crop suggestion system greatly helps the farmers to take a valuable decision.
The healing code : 6 minutes to heal the source of your health, success, or relationship issue
Discover the revolutionary formula that heals the source of illness and disease, even success and relationship issues. Dr. Alex Loyd discovered how to activate a physical function built into the body that consistently and predictably removes this source so that the neuro-immune system takes over its job of healing whatever is wrong in the body. His findings were validated scientifically and by the thousands of people from all over the world who have used The Healing Codes. In this book you will get that Universal Healing Code, which takes only 6 minutes to do.
Increasing handgrip strength via post-hypnotic suggestions with lasting effects
In our study, we suggested participants to feel strong during hypnosis and tested if that affected their handgrip strength. Handgrip strength is measured via a hand dynamometer and indicates muscle strength and participants’ general medical condition. In addition, we obtained subjective ratings of strength via a visual analogue scale. We developed a hypnosis intervention to increase strength and tied the feeling of strength to a post-hypnotic power anchor. Participants could activate this power anchor afterwards to feel strong again. We also had a randomized control group that read Arnold Schwarzenegger’s autobiography instead of hypnosis. We tested the effect of the post-hypnotic power anchor on two experimental sessions separated by one week. Our data show that participants in the hypnosis group felt significantly stronger when they activated their post-hypnotic power anchor compared to their own baseline, both in the first and second experimental session. In addition, participants in the hypnosis group showed a significant increase in objective handgrip strength compared to their own baseline one week after the hypnosis session. We conclude that our hypnosis intervention primarily improved strength perception and secondary objective handgrip strength. Our intervention can help patients to improve their medical condition and athletes to improve their sport performance.
Queen of the conquered
\"An ambitious young woman with the power to control minds seeks vengeance against the royals who murdered her family, in a Caribbean-inspired fantasy world embattled by colonial oppression. Sigourney Rose is the only surviving daughter of a noble lineage on the islands of Hans Lollik. When she was a child, her family was murdered by the islands' colonizers, who have massacred and enslaved generations of her people -- and now, Sigourney is ready to exact her revenge. When the childless king of the islands declares that he will choose his successor from amongst eligible noble families, Sigourney uses her ability to read and control minds to manipulate her way onto the royal island and into the ranks of the ruling colonizers. But when she arrives, prepared to fight for control of all the islands, Sigourney finds herself the target of a dangerous, unknown magic. Someone is killing off the ruling families to clear a path to the throne. As the bodies pile up and all eyes regard her with suspicion, Sigourney must find allies among her prey and the murderer among her peers... lest she become the next victim. Queen of the Conquered reckons with the many layers of power and privilege in a lush fantasy world -- perfect for readers of S. A. Chakraborty, Ken Liu, and Tasha Suri\"-- Provided by publisher.
Autosuggestion: a cognitive process that empowers your brain?
Autosuggestion is a cognitive process that is believed to enable control over one’s own cognitive and physiological states. Despite its potential importance for basic science and clinical applications, such as in rehabilitation, stress reduction, or pain therapy, the neurocognitive mechanisms and psychological concepts that underlie autosuggestion are poorly defined. Here, by reviewing empirical data on autosuggestion and related phenomena such as mental imagery, mental simulation, and suggestion, we offer a neurocognitive concept of autosuggestion. We argue that autosuggestion is characterized by three major factors: reinstantiation, reiteration, and volitional, active control over one’s own physiological states. We also propose that autosuggestion might involve the ‘overwriting’ of existing predictions or brain states that expect the most common (but not desired) outcome. We discuss potential experimental paradigms that could be used to study autosuggestion in the future, and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of current evidence. This review provides a first overview on how to define, experimentally induce, and study autosuggestion, which may facilitate its use in basic science and clinical practice.
Trait phenomenological control predicts experience of mirror synaesthesia and the rubber hand illusion
In hypnotic responding, expectancies arising from imaginative suggestion drive striking experiential changes (e.g., hallucinations) — which are experienced as involuntary — according to a normally distributed and stable trait ability (hypnotisability). Such experiences can be triggered by implicit suggestion and occur outside the hypnotic context. In large sample studies (of 156, 404 and 353 participants), we report substantial relationships between hypnotisability and experimental measures of experiential change in mirror-sensory synaesthesia and the rubber hand illusion comparable to relationships between hypnotisability and individual hypnosis scale items. The control of phenomenology to meet expectancies arising from perceived task requirements can account for experiential change in psychological experiments. The authors present large sample studies showing substantial relationships between measures of embodiment (the rubber hand illusion and mirror synaesthesia) and trait imaginative suggestibility in the hypnotic context. These measures of striking experiential change may therefore be confounded by suggestion effects.
The healing code : 6 minutes to heal the source of your health, success, or relationship issue
In 2001, Dr. Alexander Loyd discovered how to activate a physical function built into the body that removes the source of up to 95% of all illness and disease. The neuro-immune system can then do its job of healing whatever is wrong in the body. Dr. Loyd's findings were validated by tests and by thousands of people from all over the world who have used The Healing Code system to correct virtually any physical, emotional, or relational issues, as well as breakthroughs in career success.
How Noise Can Influence Experience-Based Decision-Making under Different Types of the Provided Information
Pervasive noise undermines many cognitive processes. Across two studies, we examined how noise influences experience-based decision-making and whether the nature of the information provided moderates this influence. Study 1 used the repeated choice paradigm and found that noise can significantly reduce people’s performance in experience-based decision-making by increasing the likelihood of choosing the option with the lower expected value. This negative influence can be attenuated when experience-congruent suggestions are provided, but significantly worsened when experience-incongruent suggestions are provided. Study 2 investigated how noise influences decision-making performance in two experience-incongruent conditions differing in error salience. By replicating noise’s general negative effect, we found that the noise effect could be attenuated when incongruent suggestions were obvious. We suggest that noise can undermine the information updating and integration process, which is necessary for experience-based decision-making. We also discuss the principles for designing better information aids based on these findings.
