Research on the implementation of teaching reforms and countermeasures of mathematical and intellectual teaching in civil engineering courses
BIM (Building Information Management) visualization technology not only promotes the innovation in the field of construction engineering, but also brings great changes to the teaching of civil engineering courses. This paper firstly introduces the organization of BIM visualization technology in teaching and its modeling basis. Then BIM visualization technology is used to combine with practical teaching to build a virtual simulation platform, which is applied to a civil engineering class, and the two traditional civil engineering teaching classes without teaching reform are used as a control group and teaching experiments are carried out. The comparative analysis of teaching effect shows that the time consumed by BIM technology in the process of shaping the 3D simulation diagram of architectural landscape in civil engineering courses is much lower than that of the traditional analytical method, and it has a high processing efficiency. The average grade of the experimental class is 81.21, which is more than 10 points higher than that of the control class, and the overall grade of the class reaches the medium-high level. The implementation of the teaching reform students have more obvious improvement in both theoretical knowledge and applied knowledge. The questionnaire survey shows that the majority of students are able to accept the teaching of Mathematical Intelligence. 53% of the students feel that their independent learning ability and problem solving ability have been improved in the teaching of Mathematical Intelligence. 83% of the students feel that they have improved their ability to communicate and cooperate with other students to complete tasks. This shows the feasibility and effectiveness of Math Intelligence teaching in civil engineering courses.
Education and new technologies : perils and promises for learners
\"Education and New Technologies focuses on aspects of education where the use of new technologies has been particularly controversial, i.e. where possible educational benefits are accompanied by concerns about a potential negative impact on learners' experiences and development. This book highlights key issues and their implications for learners, considering questions such as: When should a child's digital diet begin? Does the use of new technology hinder or enhance literacy development? What's the impact on learners who are 'connected' most of the time? Do new technologies give children new abilities or undermine their skills and identities? Are learners safe in online educational spaces?\" -- Provided by publisher.
Research on the application and effect of flipped-classroom combined with TBL teaching model in WeChat-platform-based biochemical teaching under the trend of COVID-19
Background Biochemistry is a core subject in clinical medical education. The traditional classroom teaching model led by teachers is often limited to the knowledge transfer of teachers and the passive acceptance of students. It lacks interactive and efficient teaching methods and is not enough to meet the learning needs and educational goals of modern students. The combination of WeChat public platform, flipped classroom and TBL teaching model is closer to the needs of real life and workplace, helping students to cultivate comprehensive literacy and the ability to solve practical problems. At the same time, this teaching model has yet to be used in biochemistry courses. Objective To explore the influence of the mixed teaching model of flipped classroom and combining TBL based on WeChat public platform upon undergraduates in biochemistry. Methods Using the mixed research method of quasi-experimental research design and descriptive qualitative research, 68 students were selected into the traditional and the blended teaching groups. Among them, the blended teaching group adopts the blended teaching model of flipped classroom combined with TBL based on the WeChat platform to learn biochemical courses. In this study, an independent sample t-test was intended to analyze the differences in final scores, a chi-square test was served to analyze the differences in satisfaction questionnaires, and thematic analysis was used to analyze semi-structured interview data. Results Compared with the traditional teaching model, the mixed teaching model significantly improved students' final exam scores ( P  < 0.05). The teaching satisfaction of the mixed teaching group was also higher than that of the traditional teaching group with statistical significance ( P  < 0.05). The results of the interviews with eight students were summarized into three topics: (1) Stimulating interest in learning; (2) Improving the ability of autonomous learning; (3) Recommendations for improvement. Conclusions The combination of the WeChat platform and flipped classroom with TBL has a positive effect on improving medical students' autonomous learning ability and problem-solving ability. The research shows that the teaching mode of flipped classroom combined with TBL based on the WeChat platform is effective and feasible.

Application of online teaching mode combining case studies and the MOOC platform in obstetrics and gynecology probation teaching
Objective To explore the application effect of the clinical basic integration teaching mode constructed by case studies and the MOOC platform in obstetrics and gynecology internship teaching in the face of public health emergencies. Methods One hundred ten clinical medical students of grade 2020 were selected as the experimental group, and 110 clinical medical students of grade 2021 were selected as the control group. The experimental group adopted the online teaching mode combined with case studies and the MOOC platform, while the control group adopted the offline traditional probation teaching method. Comprehensive test and questionnaire were used to evaluate and compare the teaching effect of the two groups of students. Results The experimental group was found to be superior to the control group in the quality assessment of complete medical record writing and the ability assessment of diagnosis and analysis of typical obstetrics and gynecology cases ( P  < 0. 05). However, the score of professional knowledge was lower than that of the control group ( P  < 0. 05). The results of questionnaire survey showed that the satisfaction of the experimental group in stimulating learning interest, enhancing problem solving ability, enhancing communication and clinical thinking ability, enhancing team cooperation awareness and independent innovation ability was higher than that of the control group ( P  < 0.01). The satisfaction of teacher-student interaction was also better ( P  < 0.05). However, in terms of strengthening theoretical understanding, the satisfaction of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group, but with no significant difference ( P  > 0.05). Conclusion During the epidemic period, we designed a new online teaching mode, which can be applied to the probation teaching of obstetrics and gynecology. In our study, compared with traditional offline teaching, the new online teaching mode could improve students’ ability of case writing and case analysis. However, more teaching practice is needed to complete this online teaching mode.
A study on the teaching effect of combining BOPPPS model with blended teaching in college English classes
In recent years, teaching reform in colleges and universities has been in full swing. English, as a very important part of students’ learning in colleges and universities, is also being explored and practiced through new reforms. The study explores the possibility of combining the BOPPPS teaching model with the blended teaching model and applying it to English teaching in colleges and universities, constructs a college English teaching model based on BOPPPS+blended teaching, and designs an English teaching experiment accordingly. Explore the effect of the college English teaching model based on BOPPPS+blended teaching in improving students’ English performance and classroom participation. The experimental group’s online and offline test scores are significantly superior to those of the three control groups, and the distribution of their scores is less discrete and more central. The passing rates of online grades were ranked from highest to lowest: experimental group (95.83%) > control 3 group (88%) > control 1 group (87.5%) > control 2 group (83.67%). The pass rates of offline scores in descending order were: experimental group (97.92%) > control 3 group (90%) > control 2 group (85.71%) > control 1 group (85.42%). The pre-test English scores for the four classes are small and not significant. The three control groups had a posttest oral score of 32.645, a posttest written score of 47.958, and a posttest total score of 78.646, a significant difference from the experimental group’s oral score. The teacher-student behavioral transformation rate of the experimental group (0.65) was higher than that of the control 3 groups (0.292), and the students in the experimental group were more engaged and motivated in the classroom.
