Trus Joist Corp. (NASDAQ: TJCO) announced Friday that it is adopting a new name, TJ International Inc. This change mirrors the company's transition, via recent wood window acquisitions, from a structural building products business to a specialty building products company. TJ International Inc. will have two operating divisions: Trus Joist Corp. and Design Master Corp. Trus Joist Corp. will continue manufacturing and marketing all of the firm's structural building products. A new division, Design Master Corp., will include the firm's two wholly owned wood window subsidiaries, Dashwood Industries Limited and Norco Windows Inc. Dashwood and Norco will each retain their existing separate corporate identities. (excerpt)
