Avantage outmuscles her rivals
To be considered is the late Bill Sanders mantra: never spell a female thoroughbred at the top of their form - keep going, even though horses were tougher three decades back. Avantage's price shortened in when it became obvious after the first half of the programme that the inside part of the track was more affected by midweek rain than the middle lanes and that stablemate Sword Of Osman was probably not going to manage well. For a horse who Murray Baker says is one race behind in his Derby preparation, Weather With You fought back strongly when headed in the home straight and was beaten only a head and a neck.
Nibbles: Dwayne's serves comfort food at its finest
CUISINE AND ATMOSPHERE: Dwayne's Place is down-home, feel-good cooking at its finest. And it should be: Owner Dwayne Williams spent more than a decade as a big-wig at Fred's before opening Dwayne's Place. You can feel the family atmosphere before you walk in the door -- the hours posted on the door says: \"Sunday Closed -- Family Day.\" Once you enter, you'll find food that will comfort you, and, more than likely, Dwayne, who will stop by to say hello and perhaps answer a question or two.

Longtime Buick fan relives youth with GSX: Fond memories of high school ride spurs project
Thanks to the Internet, it wasn't long before Williams had another GSX. \"I bought it in Wisconsin in several hundred pieces,\" he says. \"It was a divorce sale. I flew to Winnipeg, got a U-Haul, drove to Wisconsin and brought it back. It was a long haul.\" Buick introduced the GSX as a version of its GS 455 intermediate in 1970. Although it had all the stripes and scoops that were on muscle cars at the time, the GSX never really managed to overcome Buick's stodgy image among car buffs. For 1971 and 1972, the GSX was essentially an option package that could be installed at the dealer level.
